Forgy is the author of three novels, a novella, and romantic suspense novels in several series, including the Devil's Dust, Sin City Outlaws, Shadow Keepers MC, Devil's Dust MC Legacy, and Omerta Law series. She started writing at a young age but never took it seriously until years later, as a stay-at-home mom, she opened her laptop and started writing again.

M.N. Forgy is an International best seller, best known for her romantic biker stories. Living in the country with her family she often finds herself outside reading or writing most of the time.     OMG why??? My jaw had dropped down and screaming from the top of my lung. I have been waiting for the series.. Devil Dust MC had stealing my love since Shadow and Dani stories.. 'The Blood That Drives Us' had delivered the story with vengence and pack of surprises.

    ZANE and Addie were a childhood crush... Nothing would be normal when you were growing up in a MC family with many perks.. Zane was a complicated man. The young character with so much anger, passion and darkness between his soul. Addie was the only elixir to release him. Addie, the bravest curious woman! I love the 'Addie-Zane' relationships.. the two unfitted people who tried to save each other..

    Mn Forgy had never let me down. Her series were always pack with punches.. full with unexpected scenarios.. This story was about family, love and loyalty. I am in serious Awe with the complexity from the plot.. Sooo GOOOOOOD with the crazy emotional love. I am hoping for more stories...

    I love reading MC books and having an author that can deliver a read that seems real into that world is important. This book was true to what i would expect being part of a MC family is like and being surrounded in their world. The characters were awesome and the story flowed without pause, secondary characters were amazing and i could see future intertwining stories film them.
    Because I read an advanced copy there were things I'm sure will be fixed. But they were minor and didn't take away from the book.
    The book, like MC should provide, gave drama, action, chemistry, dirty talking Alpha, blood and tears and was a page turning read.

    Wow is all I have to say about this book! It is like the dark Romeo and Juliet of the Devils Dust MC series. Zane is just like his father, dark, broody and sexy. He have been fighting against his feelings for years and does not think that a HEA is in the cards for him. Addie grew up in the club and is full of sunshine with a dark lining. If you are looking for a dark and steamy roll coaster of a love story then this is the book for you! There is a depth to this story that will surprise you and delicious angst that will keep you turning the page. M.N Forgy has out done her self this time. The imagery in the book is amazing and there were times I felt like I was there with the characters. This is a book that makes you want to re read it after the last page, the characters and plot will stay with you. I will warn you that this is not a rainbow and fairy tale love story it is a dark and twisty tale of love and lust. But if you are looking to delve down the rabbit hole that is Zane and Addie you are for an amazing ride! I cant wait for the next book in the series!

    I am really bummed right know because I really, really wanted to love this book. I LOVE this author and the world that she has created but this story did not live up to the others in this series for me. Was it good? Yes, it was decent, just not over whelmingly wonderful like I expected.

    The first half of the book (up to 48%) was so full of editing errors that it was a choppy read. I had to stop every few pages to re-read a sentence to make sure I understood the meaning. There was incorrect grammar, missing punctuation, repetitive words and weird sentence structure. It does drastically improve after 48%. There was a lot of repeating the same sentiments and thoughts and that got annoying.

    The female characters (the three younger ones, not the older women) all acted so young and juvenile. I expect strong women from this author and did not feel that with these characters. Addie was six years older then Zane but acted ten year younger. I also felt like Zane was just a carbon copy of Shadow and not really his own character. I felt like I was reading the back history of Shadow rather then the story of his son. Zane's growth and revelations about himself (and Addie) were the only reason I continued to read this story.

    Now, the over all plot was great and I loved the connection the main characters had and built between each other. Had the story been purely their interactions I would have definitely rated the book five stars.

    I am not over whelmed with this book and think the author lost some of her magic (for me), but I will continue to read her works in the future. I have never loved every book an author has written, so I guess this is my miss from this author. I look forward to the other kids books. I encourage others to read this book as I seam to be in the minority and the story does fit with the others in the series.

    We all fell in love with the mc with Shadow & Dani.. then we got the stories about other members. I was a little iffy about a book about the kids of the MC because sometimes things are better left alone but of course the story is amazing. I bought the book hoping to finish it within the next few days.. but I ended up finishing it about 2 hours after I downloaded it! Couldn’t put it down same as the others. I loved the way original characters were brought up into the story and the way you feel a connection to everyone apart of the world Forgey has created for us! Another amazing read from her.

    The Blood That Drives Us was my introduction to the Devil's Dust MC and what a fantastic way to meet the "brats" of the MC.

    From the start Zane and Addie's story grabbed my attention and kept me riveted. Zane is everything I love about bikers. He's fierce, loyal and has a darkness inside of him that only one person can quiet. Addie is Zane's complete opposite, a total sweetheart and the light to his dark.

    Early on these two are drawn together and form an unbreakable bond admist the fast paced world they grew up in. I realized quickly their road to happiness would never be simple. It was full of twists and turns that kept me guessing constantly while my emotions were all over the place.

    I devoured this book in one sitting because I just had to know how their story would unfold and now I am eagerly awaiting to see what's in store next. If you love riveting, fast paced and emotional MC reads then you'll definitely enjoy The Blood That Drives Us.

    I love M.N.Forgy. And was excited when I received this copy from Social Butterfly PR. I'm still in shock!
    Have some tissues at the ready. There's a lot of emotions people!
    This is the next generation (the brats) of Devil's Dust.
    We have Zane,  who is Shadow and Dani's son. He's just as dark and menacing as his father.
    Addie is Jessica (Doc) and Bobby's daughter. Even though growing up in club life she feels like she doesn't belong. She just needs to let loose the club rage in her.
    The two of them were so close when they were kids. Until they reached teenage years. Their parents felt uncomfortable with them being so close and put down the law a no getting involved between the clubs kids/members.
    So Zane pushes Addie away and it breaks her heart. She ends up packing up and leaving for college.
    Years later Addie's back and gotten a teaching position at their old high school. And comes face to face with Zane.
    With their history and a threat from another club. Can they get ignore each other, let alone get along?
    Will they make it through the threat and living through club lockdown?

I’m not usually a fan of the woman being older (sorry I’m old fashioned) so was a bit apprehensive when I started this book, but I love MN Forgy’s Devils Dust series so I knew I would love it and YES I did. The age gap became non existent as the story progressed. These two were definitely meant for each other. Also loved the new characters Saint & Rad. Can’t wait for their stories!

    I really enjoyed this book. I loved Zane's character, his darkness and fearlessness. It was interesting seeing Addie's character come into herself. I liked the actual storyline not just the romance. For me this a picture of how a 1% Motorcycle Club should be written. A gritty tale for the next generation of the Devil's Dust MC. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
