    Since Trey rescued the mushroom child during the Red Storm, his whole life has changed. Living with Adam now is a positive thing. Having the new enemy in town interested in them is not a positive thing. Trey also knows that Adam is hiding something and he really needs to know. Turns out Adam has magic now and no clue what to do with it. He will need to master that magic and use it to save the town, his boyfriend as well as his other friends.

    Wraiths Adore God is the second story in the Monsters in Love series. It is best to read them in order. So much is going on and all our friends, from book one, are back, more or less. Adam and Trey are building a loving relationship but confidence and self-worth are issues for both. Trey is not sure how to raise the mushroom child while Adam is just not sure how to handle all this magic. Both of them have doubts about their relationship, which is further complicated by all the changes going on. This is an incredible story and not to be missed. More is to come which should make us all happy.

    I have not read the first book in this and I wondered if that would have an impact on my ability to understand what was going on or enjoy the story. I will go back and read it but I was able to get into the continuation of Adam and Trey's evolution as a couple. There is a lot more going on for these two than a romance. Through the twists and turns in the plot there is action, adventure and even some treachery. And it's not over yet. I am looking forward to the next book after I read the first.

    This is the story of Adam and Trey, it is the 2nd book in the Monsters In Love series.. I love this book, but I would suggest that you read the first book in the series. It is written wonderfully with lots of imagination and amazing characters. I love the the author created and you are taken on an amazing adventure. The action and suspense keeps you reading well past your bedtime and I can't wait to see what happens next. Definitely recommended.

    Oh, man, where do I even begin? First, I read this book before the first one, but I don't feel like I missed out on anything because of how the author integrated the trauma the characters have to heal from the events of the first book. This story has romance, adventure, betrayal, and action. The relationship between Trey and Adam is so adorable and you can see the strength they have together. And the plot twists!!!
    I can't wait for this series to continue.

    Trey and Adam have changed since that night, some for the better, some not. As they try to navigate their new life, raise the mushroom child, and deal with magic, it is not easy but they will manage it.

    Make sure you've read the first in the series or you will be somewhat confused since it starts where the last one ends.

    I found this book a little harder to follow along than Foxes Love Sorcerers. I honestly felt like I missed an entire story about Trey and Adam. The plot was continued directly in line from Foxes, and while it was enjoyable, and well-written, I had this constant niggling feeling that I was missing something. Now you may have better luck, and not have that same feeling. This would have been a 5 star for me if I didn't feel half-confused while reading. Regardless, I will absolutely be reading the next book as soon as it comes out.

    This book was so confusing and convoluted for about the first 75-80%, and only started to be somewhat linear and mostly understandable once the big confrontation was close. Adam and Trey are sweet, but then Trey changes and I’m not sure if he’s dead?
    Anyway, I liked the first book but this will be the last one I read in this series.

    For me it’s the characters that stand out in this series by Toshi Drake. Their trials and growth, especially Adam as The Green God and Trey as his protector that are the focus of this volume. The story is convoluted, but in a good way so that it’s not obvious what is going to happen. I love the way Ms. Drake writes these characters as being flawed and making mistakes because it makes the story so much more interesting to me. Some things come to a conclusion in this book but there is definitely more to come. Yea!
