Wow….Luca and Peyton have definitely been on a wild ride trying to get to their HEA. They both worked hard to find themselves and what they wanted, especially Luca. It’s a good reminder that everything is not always what it seems. I love all of Tracy Lorraine’s books. Tracy is a fantastic rider and is definitely on my top 10 favorite authors list. All of her books have great characters, worlds, storyline, and just the right amount of heat 🔥🌡 (the panty melting kind 😂). I always am able to lose myself into her books and become so engrossed that I don’t want to put it down and the kind that I can read more than once (you always find something new or something you missed the first when you read a book more than once). The Destruction You Desire is no exception. The Destruction You Desire will keep you engrossed and you (readers) will not want to miss a single sentence or word of it. The Destruction You Desire is the conclusion of Peyton and Luca’s story but the beginning of The Devastation You Reap with Leon and Macie (who just so happens to be introduced in the cliffhanger in The Destruction You Desire). I can’t wait to post my review so I can dove into The Devastation You Reap! Happy Reading!! PS….I would like to apologize to Tracy as I keep forgetting to make use of the currently reading photo and will try to do better at posting it. After all of the hard work to make them I should be using it.

    I'm going to be honest. I really did NOT care for Luca. Even in the beginning when introduced by Letty. (I LOVE LETTY) U hated how he just discarded his friendship with her & basically did to her what Peyton supposidely did to him. Douchebag material.....the jury was still out when starting Luca's story. At first I wasn't impressed thinking this would be just like Kane & Let. I hate when a series basically takes the same situation and just keeps repeating telling it. There is soooo much more to dark romance than that. The plot, the back ground it all plays into it. TL knows just how to deliver that all wrapped up in a nice black bow. I also get tired of "dark bullying " always being sexual. Can't you write a character that is bad boy. Dangerous background without it being sex every single chapter?? As if a guys dick is punishment come on ladies we all know your reading for that. But Nope, LUCA didn't do it for me, his twin Leon was my favorite. Even over Kane. That all being said, I slowly switched my thoughts on Luca & by the end he was an alright guy. Now I cant wait for his brothers story.....& I have a feeling it will be the darkest yet. Kane may be a bad boy. But Leon, well he's just down right dark torment. The scary psycho kind. I am so happy my group of crazy mixed up 20 somethings are growing in size group. And maturing evolving....this series overall just keeps getting better. I cant wait to experience Colt, Ella's & Micha's stories. I'd also love a look at Reid. He's a twister psycho with a side we haven't seen. And holding back no more because I've read this series one book after the other straight thru not stopping since the Rosewood HIGH Boys do let's get on to Leon!!.......

    The conclusion to Luca and Peyton's fiery reunion!

    This book pretty much starts where book 4 ended - Luca realizes that Peyton was not lying to him six years ago. Luca has his regrets, and most importantly he knows he loves Peyton. But how can he translate this love and repair all the hurt he has caused in the last few weeks to show his love.

    Peyton has so many struggles to power through, can she see past all the hurt and anger from Luca to see him again as that caring person she loves? Can she forgive him? Does she still love him?

    This story has so much angst! The twists and turns will have you turning the pages to find out what will happen next. Love can overcome so much!

    So, I think the story of Kane and Letty spoiled me. I just didn’t love the story of Luca and Peyton. Further, there were a lot of things in this that are being left up to the imagination. Yet, I feel like we need answers:

    What ended up happening to Brett? Does Reid have him? Sorry, but I feel like his story is integral to the story of Luca and Leon.
    Does Libby clean up her act?
    Do the brothers continue to be a part of Kayden’s life?
    Does Luca ever make it to the NFL?

    I guess I just feel like there are more things that are needed as part of the story, , and there were more questions left unanswered than what I would have liked to have seen.

    I was still happy to see cameos of Kane and Letty.

    My hope is that the author eventually does some type of extended story to tell us what happens to the characters.

    Now, I’m off to start Leon’s story, and I sadly don’t have high hopes given how I felt about this one. :/

    This series seems to leave as many questions as it answers. Now we also have Kane involved in the backstory again. What is going on with Brett? Is he dead?
