    This is the first book in Leon and Macie's story and Leon is definitely not thinking clearly. He blames Macie for not helping him ten years ago but he knows nothing about what her life was like. Will he ruin everything between them because of his hatred for her uncle?

The Devastation You Reap, shows Leon's struggles with what has happened to him in the past, meeting Mace who is also involved in his past. Will his need for revenge overshadow these developing feelings for Mace?

    Mace is a loner, and also pretty innocent but knows how to speak up when necessary. She has been through some stuff that has caused her not to trust people or make friends easily. She has one rule: 'stay away from footballers' , yet there is something about Leon that just draws her too him. Will Mace have room in her heart for Leon?

    This is part one of Leon's story I cant wait to read the rest in part two! Will these two strong characters have a part in each others life?

    I thought after reading Kane and Letty and Luca and Peyton's story that it could not get better, and it does.

    Leon and Macie's story unravels with a vengeance. This is quite a turn of events, uncovering why Leon is so angry. This story is tight, because it is the only way Tracy can tell this story. There are a lot of steamy scenes, but mostly, there is well thought out narration of past secrets and suffering. I don't know if there is a happy ending in the wake of this cliffhanger, but I'm diving into book 7.

    If you have been reading this series, then you don't need me to tell you to read on., because I know you're hooked. To Tracy, keep the stories coming.

As I reread /listen to earlier books in the series after reading this, it jumps out at me. He has been so strong, holding his pain together. Macie is a favorite character of mine. She's so sweet, innocent, and doesn't see what's coming her way. I just want to protect her! I cannot wait for the conclusion of their story! This has to be one of TL's best books!

    We finally get to be in Leon's head and find out what made him the way he is.

    Macie's naive, inexperienced and has led a sheltered life. Since the death of her parents, she was placed in the care of her Uncle, her father's brother, which the two brothers were well known football players. Her Uncle didn't want much to do with her, so he sent her to an all girls prep school, which she kept to herself. Being let down by people, she wants to belong.
    Her Mum went to MKU so she's now there, wanting the College experience. Making quick friends with her dorm mates, Charlie, Nathan and Jase. She finds she's got more in common with Nathan, with both of them being Prep school students.

    Leon, we've met, he's Luca's twin brother. Also on the football team, he's been second best in comparison to Luca. He's hiding something big. He's been good at covering it up for 10yrs now. But the cracks are becoming noticeable. Luca, Peyton and Letty are worried about him.
    He wants his revenge, what's due to him. He's dealing with what his father he did to him, their family, to Peyton and her family.
    When he recognises Macie he wants to use her to get information. He can't believe that she's within reach, he'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He knows that it'll devastate her. He's glad she's made some good friends, she's gonna need them.

    She stays away from football players, knowing their reputations etc.
    Until Leon, she should stay away from him. With spending time with him she shouldn't feel the way she does with him.
    Could she be falling for him this quick?
    It's got to be a dare?
    Is he playing her?
    She's got all these thoughts and her insecurities creep in.

    He's enjoying time spent with her. But when an opportunity presents itself he's on it.
    Will his feelings for her get in the way?
    Will he go through with it?

    I felt for these two.
    They've been through pain.
    Things that kids shouldn't have seen or be put through.
    Seen people become monsters.

    Loved this!

    We don't have long to wait for book two of Leon's duet, THE RETALIATION YOU DELIVER.
