⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 I love this series! It's great how you can read them as stand-alones and the characters are all intertwine. Margot & Drew... Where do I begin.. I had a hard time with Margot and to be honest I have a very hard time with female characters who have serious self doubt, severe self esteem issues. That being said I fell in love with Drew. He was absolutely amazing and so super patient with Margot. Jeez! Once Drew knew his love for Margot was beyond friendship, he was not letting go. He has done for her more than he has done for any other, even his ex-girlfriend who he thought he was so in love with.. So he thought... Margot has lots of obstacles she needs to surpass in order to realize Drew is real and is not faking his love for her. She's not his rebound. Between dealing with her previous break-up and the new feelings she has for Drew... She's just on the edge! I have to say everything I felt throughout the book just falls out of Drew's lips and leaves you in awe!

    This was definitely the spiciest book in the series so far. Drew and Margot made the best friends to lovers and when they finally get together their chemistry is on fire. Aside from the romance, I liked that this covered some other tough topics such as child abuse and abandonment, self deprecation, and alcoholism. Both Drew and Margot had baggage, but it would have been boring without it.

    As I said in my review of the previous book, I was unsure how I would feel about Drew going into this. And it took awhile for me to change my thinking about him. He was so hung up on Aria and then all the sudden realizes Margot has been his person all along? It took a few chapters for me to buy into that, but once I did, Drew became a great mmc. He was so supportive of Margot and tried to be understanding of her past while pushing their budding relationship forward. Drew was definitely a flawed man, but I think he redeemed himself pretty well, at least in my mind.

    Margot’s character was also flawed. As a secondary character in the first two books I was intrigued to get her whole story, and I was not expecting half of what she’d gone through. There were moments when she made me mad because of her hang ups about her relationship with Drew, but she always seemed to get to the right conclusion in the end. The push and pull went for quite awhile and there was a point when I just wanted them both to open up to each other about everything!

    The end of this book was intense. I felt like the first 3/4 was relatively light, but the last 1/4 of the book was heavy and dramatic. It was a great ending and I liked the way it all worked out.

Though much of her inner dialogue is self-deprecating, you can see the desire for and the steps towards growth. She truly is a fighter and eventually, she came to accept that she was the best thing for Drew, and he for her.

    I recommend this read. You'll love the romance story, but the entire group of friends is one you'll want to hang out with for a long time.

    J. Saman, you have such a way with words and a wonderfully magical mind. This book triggered me in so many ways and if you've ever suffered traumatic experiences caused by a parent or sexual abuse by some one you should've been able to trust and thus have suffered the effects of those traumas throughout your life you'll probably be triggered too. But don't be afraid because J. Saman told this story in such a way that was able to put a voice to the feelings you might not have understood were weighing you down for so long. I was able to relate so much to Margot and even if my experiences weren't the exactly like hers they have been no less traumatic, but it was almost cathartic going through this with her. I know this is just a fictitious story but reading for me shuts all the chaos in my head and you find coping tools where ever you can. I love this series so much but I think this one was my favorite by far. There are so many beautiful lines in this book that I wish I had Aria's photographic memory to memorize them all. I laughed and I cried and I had a hard this putting this book down. The realiotionships and dialogs between the main characters and their friends and also the ones between eachother are everything. One should be so lucky to find friends like these or to find a love that is all consuming and forgiving and patient. One where you come together and fill eachothers broken pieces and make each other whole. That's what Drew and Margot did for eachother and it was a beautiful thing to watch their friendship develop from friends to lovers to partners in life. I don't know if this helps you make up your mind about reading this book but I really hope you give a chance. Thank you J. Saman.

What I first loved about this book is that Drew is Aria's ex-boyfriend, and Aria is a good friend of Margot's. It's not often that you see a relationship form between a friend and an ex so I loved this premise and it was executed so well. Drew and Margot had their own issues - Margot especially - and I felt that these were handled with grace and respect while still making the story a riveting read. Looking forward to finally getting to Rina's story! Been hanging to read about this youngest Fritz.

The book started off great. Margot is the saving grace of this series! She is flawed but who isn’t. Drew was swoon worthy. This book was amazing, great story and well written.
