    There is some fun, angsty moments and another side of the story that what we have read from Logan's and Elle's version of freshman year.

    I've read a lot of books by this author and what I'm really loving other than the storylines and characters is the message her books deliver. I connected so easily to these characters and was really moved by their individual journeys. I related to Jamie because I was the friend of a preachers daughter (in high school) and believe me, I never wanted to be in her shoes, they are held to a much higher standard than most. And I did get the feeling that Jamie was as well but of course she has the complicated issue with her mom and that's a tricky situation especially with her dad being a minister. And Mitch, well his story is a bit more common but not to be disregarded because unfortunately his story is becoming the norm for too many people. My heart broke for him and all he'd been through because when you live a life that he did, you become hard, you put on armour to help you survive and nobody should have to grow up that way. Together these two beautiful souls soar, of course there are issues and roads that have to be navigated but that's all part of life. Such a great story!

    You have a strong young freshman college student, Jamie, who is strong in her beliefs and is going to be herself and do the things that make her happy. Then you have Mitchell Moore, known as Munch or Player as Jamie likes to call him star football player who has a great fondness for women of color.
    This book is full of so many feel good moments and break your heart moments that you will swing from laughing to crying in just a few sentences. They have an instant connection and never let color be an issue. They both grow throughout this book and come out on the other side better than they started!
    There is a reason Mitchell Moore is called Munch and you need to read the book to find out why...this is such a fantastic book and this review is nowhere near giving it justice but I absolutely loved it and think you will, too❤️

    Once again MJ gives us a book with all the feels. Their First Time is a great addition to the first series book's and is Jamie and Mitch's story, it occurs at the same time as London and Logan's story and it's great to see the squad and team making appearances through out.
    Jamie is experiencing so many firsts being away at college and a way from the small town where her every move is reported, she does have one secret though that she's hoping to find answers to.
    Mitch he's the cheeky team player with a haunting past but when he comes across Jamie In the college canteen with her squad he's trapped and want's to find out more but Jamie isn't the easy play for him.
    This whole series is a must but watching Jamie and Mitch concur their past and future is absolutely beautiful.
