The plot line for this book was entirely new to me and I loved how the author made her way around it! The book goes a great pace not to slow or too fast and I really appreciate that in a good book!
There is a mild cliffhanger but it’s done so well. Typically I hate books that end with a cliffhanger or not answering all the questions. However Emma does is flawlessly where lots of questions are answered and left me wanting more and had me excited to see there was a second book 📚
It was a great balance and wonderfully written I would highly recommend it!

Can’t wait for book 2
I started reading this the same day I got it and couldn’t stop. I finished it about 5 hours after I started and I absolutely fell in love with the characters in this book. I absolutely cannot wait to read the next book to see what kind of journey it takes us on. Emma Lee-Johnson is an amazing author.
