Sometimes life presents us with inexorable pain and formidable choices. Nevaeh Hewett knows this struggle of duplicity well. USA Today Bestselling Author, S. R. Watson, is a Texas native who currently resides in Washington with her children. She grew up reading the Sweet Valley series (Twins, High, & University) among others. Although she wrote countless stories during high school, she’d never published any of them. She continued her education and became an operating room registered nurse. The pursuit towards earning her degrees, meant less time for leisure reading and writing for a bit. After picking up reading again, starting with the Twilight series and 50 Shades Trilogy, she decided to pursue her passion for writing once again.

S. R. Watson (also writes as S. Reneé) published her first book in 2014. She is the author of the Forbidden Trilogy, The Object of His Desire, and the co-authored S.I.N. Trilogy. She co-authored Peppermint Mocha Love, R.L. Harmon (also writes as Ryan Stacks). The duo also collaborated on Unforbidden and Silas Part Two with more to come.

When S. R. Watson is not writing, or working as travel OR nurse, she loves to read and binge watch her favorite shows (Scandal, Elementary, Big Brother, etc.)

    I am still in la la land after reading this book. Reading great read. Won't be my last from this author.
    After losing her mother Nevaeh decides to move to Tallahassee to go to college and moves in with her best friend whom shares an apartment with another couple. After arriving she finds out that Thor whom is dating Giselle, is the love of her life that she had to let go two years prior. I don't like spoilers so I won't post any but after this Landon is such a jerk to her because of their past. Well when truths come out Landon wants Nevaeh again, but he still has a girlfriend. I definitely did not see a lot of things coming with this book. Was a jaw dropper. Landon was alpha which I love and Nevaeh was independent, kind and very likable. Told from Nevaeh's POV. HEA all the way. Hoping that Gavin gets a story. Highly recommend.

    I was drawn into this book because it's a second chance romance and a love triangle. Nevaeh is at a new college to be with her best friend Peyton and rooming with Peyton's friends Giselle and Thor, who are a couple. Thor turns out to be Nevaeh's first love, Landon, from high school whose heart she broke and now they are living in the same apartment. Talk about mounting tension and bitterness. Nevaeh had her reasons for leaving Landon and it wasn't because she didn't love him. Okay, so I have to admit, Thor being Landon's nickname sounded just as ridiculous to me as it did to Nevaeh, but everyone else at college accepted it without question. There's quite a bit of backlash and hate with Landon trying to get back at Nevaeh but also sending mixed signals. I could see that Landon was a good guy overall because he truly did love Nevaeh but she cut him deep, so now he resorted to be a complete jerk to her and he says some nasty things. When he's in boyfriend mode, though, Landon is unstoppable. Nevaeh was a strong heroine who stood on her own two feet and would not cower to anyone and I thought she was relatable. Her reasons for leaving Landon were not bad reasons. There's quite a bit of heat and steam and crashing and burning, too. Landon has to decide if he can forgive Nevaeh and if he still loves her enough that he will stick by her side. Some twists are tucked away in the story as well, and I knew they were coming, I just didn't know what they would be so it was fun to be surprised. I would've liked at least 1 flashback scene of Landon and Nevaeh when they were in high school just to get a better glimpse of their original chemistry but that didn't hurt the development of the characters at all. Overall, it was an entertaining read.

    Wow, where to start..first off I have to say I loved this book. It captured my attention right from the first page and kept it till the last.
    Nevaeh, after losing her mom decides to move to Florida with her friend to go to university. There she meets her new roommate Thor. The connection between these two was instant and their attraction for each other was off the charts plus they have a secret. Too bad he already has a girlfriend, who also happens to be their other roommate.
    Don't want to give anything away but the scenes between Nevaeh and Thor were crazy hot and Thor will be your next book bf.

    What a rollercoaster ride of emotions, I loved this book, the characters are great, Nevaeh or heaven as she's called is the girl next door with a past she wants to forget, and Landon or Thor the quarterback lover she lost become reunited years later but things keep get in the way. There are twists and turns in this book but it's an must read well worth a look.
