This is a fantastic, action-packed, dramatic, emotional, humorous boxed set of paranormal romances. Although they each focus on a different couple, they are all related. And they star gargoyle shifters whose hearts are anything but stone. My reviews of the individual books are included below if you want to know more. I really enjoyed this series.
Stone Under Skin (Book 1) - 4 stars
I loved having a gargoyle turned human as the main character, and the fated mates/reincarnation trope was engaging and very interesting. Ankit and Ethan are fated mates, but have been tragically parted over several lives. This time, Ankit plans to make it different, and together they will fight for their love, freedom, and future. The story really drew me in and carried me to the end.
Blood Beneath Stone (Book 2) - 5 stars
What happens when you find out your enemy is your fated mate?
The gargoyles are guardians, protectors, and hunters of evil vampires, but what happens when Petro discovers his fated mate is a vampire? Fortunately, Keir is nothing like Petro knows vampires to be. Unfortunately, Keir is under the sway of his maker/sire who is every bit as awful as the worst evil. Can Petro break Keir free of his maker? Is their fated bond stronger? I enjoyed this unique story. It's engaging, fun, and sexy. Oh - and it has gargoyles and vampires as MCs - what more does it need to recommend it? 😉
Stone Hearts (Book 3) - 5 stars
I have really enjoyed this series. In this third book, the battles are finally over, and the gargoyles are released to seek peace and love where they may find it. Having no mates, Aasim and Jashik decide to stay together rather than live eternity alone. The way their comradeship developed into trust, friendship, and love was so sweet and heart-warming. Evil eventually rises again, and the gargoyles must come together to fight to keep the new lives they've made. An intriguing world and well-developed characters make this a fantastic series. There is danger and drama but also fun and laughter. It was great to see the characters from the first two books again. This would be a satisfactory end to the series, but I wouldn't mind if the author brought us more.😉
