Time to Let Go (Time of Our Lives Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 16 ratings

How far is Ryan willing to push to break down Andrew’s walls and show him he’s worthy of being loved again?

As a pilot and youngest of his three siblings, Ryan has been feeling the pressure from his family to settle down and get his head out of the clouds. When an intriguing, mature flower shop owner catches his eye, he thinks he might be ready to find someone who’s comfortable in their skin and wants to build a life together. One thing Ryan never expected, however, was for the man to go running when he extended an invitation to dinner.

Can Andrew find it in himself to accept Ryan’s interest and allow his heart to love again?

Nearly five years have passed since Andrew lost his late fiancé, and he never expects the handsome young man who steps into his shop to wink at him or ask him out to dinner. What does a sexy twenty-something want with a forty-year-old man who wears kitten heels and kimono robes to work? But if he continues to rebuff the younger man’s advances, Andrew just might lose the one thing he needs the most.

Time to Let Go is the third book in the Time of Our Lives Series and can be enjoyed as a standalone, though there are appearances by characters from previous books. This 77k word novel features a slow-burn, age-gap romance, lacy panties, and two men who just might have found their future in each other.

Morgan Mason is a gay romance author and reader, who got her start writing YA. Her penchant for sweet stories with a good dose of spicy heat thrown in, always end with a happily ever after. Some of her characters find love easily, some take the scenic route, but all in all, everyone gets there in the end.

When she’s not reading, writing, or working, Morgan is playing with her three dogs, changing out her “mom hats” for her extremely busy kids, and trying to rein in a husband who continually comes up with new hobbies for them to explore. She’d love to travel the world one day but that would mean pulling her nose out of a book to appreciate the scenery around her and she’s not sure how she would feel about that.

This book was so wonderful. After lonely years of sadness, Andrew needed to move on and have a better life. Queue Ryan, who himself was looking for his own HEA with a mature man to settle down with and raise a family, now that his oats were down and his career was going well. It did take a little, well a lot of coaxing and patience on Ryan's part, but it was well worth it. Andrew couldn't have found a more understanding man, letting Andrew tell him of his life with George and work him through the grief and guilt of moving on with him. A lessor man would have walked away. Reading their story made me both happy and sad, but in the end it was all happiness. After a terrible family life and the death of his partner of many years, Ryan not only brought love and laughter into his life, but family and friends. The ending was so wonderful, I just wish we got to be part of the wedding and reception. It looked like it was gonna be such fun.

This was my first book by this author and I adored it. I must now go back and read the first two!

Andrew and Ryan were so sweet together. I enjoyed Ryan’s pursuit of Andrew. There were a couple times I wanted to slap Andrew for pushing Ryan away, but a damaged heart is a funny thing and sometimes the need to protect overrides everything else.

Andrew’s partner of 15 years died in an accident and 5 years later, Andrew has shut himself off from the possibility of love.

Ryan may be younger, but he knows what he wants and he’s set his sights on Andrew. Plus he knows no one can resist a man in uniform.

It’s a low angst, medium-high heat, semi-insta love, age gap, hurt/comfort story. There are a few bumps, caused by fear and miscommunication, but overall I would recommend this book.

It’s very well written, and I definitely look forward to more from this author!

This book was so sweet and heartwarming! I cried both sad and happy tears with this one. Ryan may be a younger man but he is an old soul, ready to settle down. Andrew is an older man, a florist who has trouble believing that Ryan would really want to be with him. Sooooo good!

This is a wonderful book that tackles grief and hurt, with a good amount of healing, love and romance. Andrew has just been merely surviving when Ryan bursts into his life. He’s wary and uncertain of whether he can really have Ryan in his life. But what I loved was Ryan’s character. Despite being younger, he knows exactly what he wants - being Andrew- and he certainly proves it. I liked the plot and the pacing, but it was Ryan for me who completely won me over! A lovely story that gives you all the happiness in the end.

Dealing with loss of a loved one is never easy. Andrew has withdrawn from every part of life except working with the beauty of flowers. Ryan has tired of the club life and parting. He is living his dream of being a commercial pilot but his heart wants more. When he meets Andrew, Ryan is mesmerized by the gorgeous man in silk. That's the sweet. Their physical Connie the sexy.

Andrew had been single for five years, his long term partner of fifteen years had been killed in a road accident and Andrew was still grieving for him. Andrew met Ryan when he went into Andrew's flower shop asking for some rose leave to feed his stick insect. Ryan is attracted to the handsome older man and thinks he looks gorgeous in his kimono style robe but that he looks incredibly sad! He leaves the shop promising to return again.
MM, Age gap, Second Chance romance, kink. Enjoyed the story.
