The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita Kindle Edition
No one knows it is I, Kamini Singh who writes The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita.
The weekly column in Ichchha Magazine has been my secret for many years and penning Harita’s wild sexual experiences has been a wonderful release for my frustrated emotions as I’ve waited for my parents to find me a suitable husband.
Now they have – the delectable Damon, and I can barely contain my excitement as our wedding, and wedding night, approaches. Handing myself over to him body and soul is going to be such a treat.
So imagine my delighted surprise when my new husband asks for even more than I ever dared hope? And imagine my shock when I realised that Damon had secrets of his own which could please me, satisfy me, and take me on ecstatic journeys which got more and more daring with each adventure Harita enjoyed.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2014The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita by Lily Harlem
Oh what a sneaky book this is by Lily Harlem. Kamini, is a very talented writer and she writes articles for a posh magazine under a false name. She is very worried. You see Kamini is getting ready to be married to man she had only met once. Yes you got it, it is an arranged marriage. Normally you think oh great she is going to marry some looser and they are going to hate each other and it will never last. Oh no not in this case. Damon is her betrothed and he is perfect! She has a hard time sitting still when she is around him. There is just something about him that makes her panties all wet. Now back to the worrying part. Should she tell Damon what she does for work or should she keep that to herself? She is afraid that he might make her quit and she loves writing her short stories. What Kamini doesn’t know is that Damon has a secret of his own. Will she find out what secrets he holds? Well guess what you are going to have to read it for yourself. It’s a great short story but now I wish I could find out what happened when he came home from work! Teaser!
I received this book as a gift from the author.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2015This is one of the hottest books I have read to date. It was sexy and written beautifully. Ms. Harlem has written sexy books for some time but this one is one of the best.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2015Writing a sexy adventure story for a weekly magazine is Kamini's big secret. When her parents arrange for her to marry the delectable Damon, Kamini starts to look forward to her wedding night. Can all those years of research live up the to real thing?
Married life is perfect both in and out of the marital bed, but whilst Kamini is torn whether to tell her husband of her work she finds something out about him that she can use to her advantage and play out all her wildest dreams.
A fantastic read that I devoured in one go. Definitely one for the adults and once again proof that Lily's writing can transport you anywhere in the world.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2012Lily Harlem's contribution to Total-E-Bound's Bollywood series is excellent. It tells the story of Kamini Singh, a young Indian woman with a secret - she writes erotic fiction. Her weekly column in Ichchha Magazine, The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita has been a wonderful release during the time she has spent waiting for her parents to find her a suitable husband. The money has been much appreciated, too.
When Kamini's parents propose a marriage to the delectable Damon, she's delighted, and can barely wait for their wedding, and the night that follows it. Her online research for Harita has her head swimming with lots of ideas and she can barely wait to try them all out.
Kamini's wedding night is everything she'd hoped for - and more. Her life with Damon, both in and out of the bedroom is perfect, and she's ecstatic. But when Kamini uncovers a surprise about her husband, she decides to turn it to her advantage and send hers and Damon's sex life to dizzying new heights.
The Unwholesome Adventures of Harita is another fab tale from Lily Harlem. I thought the premise was brilliant. It's very cleverly spun out, throwing in surprises here and there, not to mention some incredibly kinky interludes. Well-written, very sexy and funny in places, this is one unique novella you should definitely add to your eReader.
