    From the very start Scuba was pushy, dominant and didn't give a rats a$$ about what anybody wanted or said even Alessia, he dominated her from the beginning and she just went a long with it at first because of what happened to her previously with the LA Mafia, but eventually she put her foot down then the love they had for one another came through, drama from the club wh0r3s was really good and Alessia put them I their place ... great read 🥰

    A character that actually shows remorse! Many of the authors MMC never show any real remorse….for once this character did. He showed guilt, remorse and regret. I never actually mind cheating in a book but there has to be actual feelings of growth and also that what you’ve read and put time into reading they’ve showed character development. Normally the FMC have to put up and shut up, but I actually felt that Alessia showed some actual gumption and the MMC took her feelings into account.
    The books are fast paced and down and dirty. The only reason I never rate higher than a four is that they never make me cry…..and believe me I cry easily! There is angst and drama but I never feel it reaches my gut. I’m not comparing authors as that’s disrespectful to the time they take to write, but if anyone has read The Story of Us by Lesley Jones then you’ll know exactly what I mean, the characters have so much depth and it completely rips your heart out.
