I am so glad I found author Erin Trejo and her Fallen Angel's series. I may have read them out of sequence, but that didn't make them any less great!
Tank, Cher and Bella's story is such a great one. Tank, the VP of the Fallen Angel's MC gets his daughter, Bella back after wondering for so many years where his ex Candy had taken his daughter. Bella has developed an attitude, and a smart mouth, and Tank is a bit at odds of how to deal with a beautiful teenage daughter, but he is so glad to have Bella back he is determined to work this all out.
Tank's current girlfriend, Cher has had some history with other MC's but she is not all that familiar with the lifestyle despite the fact her best friend, Jada is married to Creed the Angel's President. Tank is taken with Cher the moment he is introduced to her, and is surprised to find that he is loving watching her smile, and interact with Bella, although they didn't start off very well.
Dougie, a member of the Angel's is killed by a high powered rifle from an access road that few people know about. This is such a mystery, but when Tank and Creed discover that he was killed because he was trying to get Bella out of a rival MC and bring her home to Tank the war is about to commence. Since the shooter was a sharp shooter they needed to find someone military, but it all still didn't add up.
Cher is getting phone calls from her ex, and Tank demands to know what the situation is with her and him. Cher finally comes clean and tells Tank, tearfully that Thomas Finch locked her in an apartment and made her stop going to college and separated her from her family and friends. He is the son of a rich man in town that keeps covering up for his disappearing son. Tank's ex Candy shows up at the club, and Bella makes it very clear that she hates her, and Tank has Candy escorted out of the club.
Griff, and older MC brother, and a father figure to Tank when he was younger tells Tank that Thomas and Candy have been wandering from club to club, but he knows that the pair have abused Bella in the past, and that was why Dougie was there trying to get Bella out. Tank is now outraged that this Thomas has hurt both of his girls, and he will only be satisfied with Thomas' blood!
Tank and Cher spend a night away from the locked down club at Tank's house, and the next day the house is shot at by a blacked out truck. If Tank wasn't wild before he sure is now, and Cher tells him over and over that Thomas says he will come for her, and kill anyone that tries to stop him. Tank is trying to reassure Cher that is never going to happen. On their way back to the clubhouse Tank is shot in the arm, and days later when Tank, Creed and Torch go to pay their respects to Griff who is now on his deathbed, they are shot at again, and Tank takes 3 bullets this time.
The club is fired on as well, and Joey, the prospect that Tank dislikes, throws himself over Bella to save her, and gets shot himself. Tank now begins to realize that Joey really isn't a bad guy after all, and really does care about Bella. Cher has also admitted that she is pregnant, and Tank is over the moon, but more determined to end Thomas Finch!
This is a fast paced, MC romance that is well worth the read. While I read this series out of sequence, they all have been great reads, and I am so pleased to have found author Erin Trejo!

I thought I liked Creed, but I love me some Tank
This is book two in the Fallen Angel’s MC series. I thought I liked Creed, but I love me some Tank. The story is well written and goes along at a fast pace. Tank and Cher started their story in Creed. Tank is a rough around the edges bad-ass, as the Fallen Angel’s VP. He has made many mistakes in his life. He fell in love at 16 with a woman that stole his heart and then stole his daughter. After Tank turned 18, he joined the Fallen Angels and Candy didn’t want to be a part of that lifestyle, so she left and took Bella with her. Tank couldn’t find Candy and his daughter, so he was left to pick up the pieces of his life and move on. When Tank met Cher, he felt like he could have a chance at happiness again. Cher brought out Tank’s tender and loving side. He didn’t think he would ever be able to love again after Candy broke his heart. Cher and Tank had some pretty heated disagreements and had to learn to deal with each other’s personality. Bella always wanted to know about her father, but her mother told her he didn’t want her, which couldn’t have been further from the truth. So 16-year-old Bella decided to reach out to her father and showed up at the clubhouse, after her mother took off with her current boyfriend. Her mother’s behavior wasn’t new to Bella; she lived a hard life with her mother and her sordid boyfriends. This drove Tank into fits of rage that his daughter had to endure the life her mother chose. Bella is a great character and you see her development and see the relationship grow with her dad. Tank has loved Bella since the day she was born and is so torn up about not being involved in her life until now. There is so much to this story with intertwining tragedies. There is suspense and action. The chemistry between Tank and Cher is off the charts. Tank, Cher and Bella have so much drama and baggage to overcome. They have their disagreements and misunderstandings, but they all learn to love and depend on each other, and are brought into the Fallen Angel’s MC family fold. This is a really good series and I look forward to reading Ryker!
