Lena Bourne presets one of the most unseemly potential love stories, and slowly takes you through wrenching emotions. You will find yourself rooting for the ‘un-rootable’.     Tank is a hot, alpha, bad-ass biker. He has done a lot of bad stuff, but he does good too, in the hopes that it all balances out.

    Kim is a journalist, and she has seen and endured some bad things. The latest story she was covering ended in a really bad way, and she is home trying to put herself back together again, and helping to take care of her Mom and little brother at the same time.

    Neither is looking for more than one night, they both know they don't belong together. But they can't seem to stay away from each other. And before long, their lives will become entangled in a way neither ever could have imagined.

    The characters in this book are strong, interesting characters. The story grabs you and sucks you in right from the beginning, and keeps you pulled in all the way until the end. You will find that you just can't put it down. You have to keep reading to find out what happens next, and how it all plays out.

    I love books about MC's, and Tank does not disappoint! While second in a series, it can easily be read as a standalone, although I guarantee you will want to go back and read Cross' story (Book 1) too.

    I like this series but I'm not sure what to think about this book. I liked it, wanted things to work out for Kim and Tank but i'm not sure the rushed ending works. I think the author needed longer to develop the relationship between Kim and Tank. I just finished it so maybe in the coming days I'll think it was better than I do now but for now. I'm not sure the character development makes sense with the ending.

    Kim herself battles with her mind of what was, but now what is.
    Her step father is running for sheriff. Her mom's mentally unstable and Bengi, her brother, has down syndrome. She's the rock they need in their lives, until Tank...

    Devil's Nightmare MC guys are so bad yet so good. They will definitely be ones that you can count on to defend and protect you when you become part of their heart..

    Enough of my rambling lol, just grab this book and start reading. I guarantee you'll enjoy it...

    Rook becomes real for us in this story. He likes redheads, and fortunately for him he gets to meet Kim, a fiery one. They both share a sad childhood, thus bonding them as they build their relationship. I enjoyed the relationship that Kim had with her brother and her mom.

    I chose the rating because Lena Bourne is a good author, she writes an excellent story. This is book 2 of this series and I'm loving it pure MC at its best. Had a storyline where I couldn't see a happy way out, excellent. My only gripe, same as book 1, filling the book up with other stories. I have the full series, but much as I love her writing, after this I will check her books out to make sure I only get what I want, not lots of other stuff. If they're not 1 book, I won't be buying

    Another amazing book by Lena. This one focuses on the Devils Nightmare VP - Tank!
    Whilst volunteering at Greys, a home for the disabled, he meets Kim. She’s visiting her brother Benji whilst she’s home from assignment - Kim’s a journalist who’s been travelling the world reporting. She hadn’t been the same since a trip to Nigeria where she couldn’t save a group of young girls from the gangs who had taken over the area.
    She believes that Tank is just playing at being a biker and doesn’t realise until it’s too late that he’s actually the Vice President. Tank finds out far too late that the job he’s supposed to be doing is that of killing her step father. He can’t do it. The moral dilemma and the consequences for Kim and himself far outweighs the risk to himself. This story does have a HEA !
    The characters are beautifully written and are compelling to read. Lena does another great job of creating the MC world and whilst this story doesn’t really focus on that, it does have elements of it in there.
    Loved this story!
