Tasty Treats at Seahorse Bites Café : An uplifting and heartwarming novel about family, friendship and looking for love in all the wrong places. (Seahorse Harbour Book 4) Kindle Edition
Asher Bryant's sister, Sorcha has come to stay … and there's going to be trouble in the cosy little village.
Sorcha Green (née Bryant) has one nightmare marriage and a string of calamitous love affairs behind her - and she's not yet thirty-four. Now she's healing another heartbreak by staying with her brother, Asher in the tiny, picturesque village of Seahorse Harbour. Asher’s found the love of his life. Why can't Sorcha do the same?
When heart-meltingly gorgeous, Finlay Demon arrives in Seahorse Harbour with his mates for a bachelor's, long weekend, Sorcha's sure she's found 'The One'. Not even his surname puts her off. But is Finlay really as perfect as he seems?
Nathan Bromley, who's helping out at Seahorse Bites Café doesn't think so. Or perhaps he simply doesn't want to believe it. Because if Finlay is as great as he appears to be, how can Nathan possibly compete with him for Sorcha's heart? Not that Sorcha seems to notice Nathan exists, romantically speaking.
While Finlay sweeps Sorcha off her feet, Nathan is determined to keep Sorcha’s feet firmly on the ground. But that's a recipe for disaster. Trouble is brewing in the cosy little village and the lid is about to be blown off more than one person's pot of dreams.
This is book 4 in my new series of standalone novels set in the tiny, seaside village of Seahorse Harbour.

About the author

Emily writes novels, novellas and short stories about friendship, family, the things life throws at us, and falling in love. She loves a happy ending but knows that life doesn't always go to plan. Her stories are sure to bring a smile to your face and a warmth to your heart. She is a full member of the Society of Authors and since her first book was published in 2012, several of her books have been best sellers.
Emily lives in East Sussex, UK, minutes from the sea in a town called Hastings - famous for the Battle of 1066. The stunning surrounding countryside and quaint English villages often appear in her books. Emily lives with her rescue cat, Portia, and when she's not writing, she loves to read, cook, drink (too much) wine with her friends, and potter in the garden of the house she's recently bought. She also loves skiing, adores frolicking in the snow, and is a self-confessed lover of Christmas - which can't start too early, in her opinion.
Emily loves to connect with her readers and has a readers' group in which many have become good friends. To catch up with Emily, or find out about the group, visit https://www.emilyharvale.com or connect with her on social media: https://www.facebook.com/emilyharvalewriter

- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2021What a sweet romp! It was different and funny and filled with twists and turns! What a wild story with Findley Demon! I was so grateful when she was finally aware of her feelings for Nathan! LOL! Yay Emily you did it again......hit it out of the ball park! My daughter and I were that way too...
Falling too hard without fully checking all the dots. We learned too! Now I'm happily married for 38 years. My daughter was married for 11 years until last weekend. I do hope she learns to go slow. Maybe I will suggest she reads this one!! Thank you! Lou Ann
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2021Finlay certainly turned out to be a very stupid guy but a good actor. And Nathan has a very strange way of letting a woman know he's interested in her. Sorcha surely had some growing up to do and thankfully Finlay hadn't gone any further.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 20213.5 stars. I wanted to give more stars because I love all things Emily Harvale but I had a really hard time with Sorcha. I almost stopped reading on page 33 however I always feel compelled to see a book through to the end and I loved the other books set in Seahorse Harbor. The storyline was well written and it was great to see all the lovely characters from prior books as a supporting cast. I never warmed to Sorcha, finding her to be immature, obtuse, and stubborn. Nathan, Finlay, Asher, and Lottie made up for Sorcha's lack of depth and I still got that little butterfly feeling when true feelings were confessed.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2021The first and second books in this series were the first books I'd read by Emily Harvard. I enjoyed them very much. They were well constructed , with great details about the locale and back stories about the characters. This book's main character was a woman with the sensibilities of a teenager. She had no interests, no internal life. All she was about was falling in love, usually at first sight. I'll leave it at that. I don't know that I'll read more in the series or by the author. One other part that took me out of the story was unnecessary commas in descriptive phrases such as a "gorgeous blue sky." She has many such sentences with a comma inserted after the word like "gorgeous" so it reads"gorgeous, blue sky." So distracting.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2021This book presents women in the most demeaning way possible, living life only to be made whole by finding a man. The whole group of them engage in shopping, eating, gossip, and drama over men. The only woman with any apparent ability and goals, Lyn, was depicted as having to be rescued by a man. The author clearly is talented but owes her readers women characters that reflect grown, happy, successful women...not middle school girls.

5.0 out of 5 stars sorcha and Nathan
This book was filled with lots of emotions and heartache, sorcha has been mention in previous book but this book dedicated to sorcha side of the story.
Nathan is complete opposite to sorcha, he quiet reserved doesn’t wear his emotion out loud.
The author touching some raw points and show the realisation of what happening in todays world.
Highly recommend this book.
Looking forward to reading book 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty Treats at Seahorse Bites Café
As this is book 4 in the series this book is more from the eyes of one of the characters called Sorcha who is the vets sister.
Again Emily writes with true emotions. You can relate to something that may of happened to you or one of your friends. I couldn't put the book down until I had finished it.
Excellent read easy to know the characters as Emily reminds you Incase you read as a standalone book. Highly recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic, romantic fictional escape
Another great book by Emily.
I really enjoyed hearing Sorchas’ story which has been touched upon in the other books. This is the latest book in the fictional seaside village of Seahorse Harbour and a very enjoyable read. I devoured it in 2 sittings, not wanting to put it down.
Emily’s books are full of love, laughter, friendship and fun and this book does not disappoint.
Buy this book for some lockdown escapism and if you haven’t come across Emily’s books before I recommend you start working your way through them.
Thank you Emily for another great read, looking forward to book 5.

3.0 out of 5 stars An easy read
This is a well written & easy read. However, I found the lead character of Sorcha irritating & the storyline a bit far fetched
