They will all have a similar feel about them, with Josie's end goal of freeing Suncroft from the curse.Book 2 is entitled Josie James and The Velvet Knife. Here Josie has returned to Suncroft for the summer to solve the riddles that are being left by The Velvet Knife (a hooded figure who has mysteriously appeared in the village).

    This year I have challenged myself to read out of my usual genre, so I thought this looked interesting for my Fantasy reading list. Straight away I was hooked into the story, I was fascinated to find out about Josie and her other life in Suncroft!
    Love the concept of Huskies as protectors and the mystery of the cursed village.
    It certainly kept me reading!
    I liked that it was a shorter book, not too overwhelming to read. I was ready to drive into book two the next day!
