Kelly Apple is a hardcore paranormal junkie with the bad habit of falling for damaged heroes. Finding (and writing) characters who make her heart break is one of her goals in life. She has a boy who can drink his weight in Mountain Dew and always tries to get her to play video games with him. She politely declines on account of all the voices in her head who are impatiently waiting for their stories to be told. Oddly, her two dogs have never tried to talk her into playing video games. They just expect belly rubs.

Kelly lives in sunny Northern California and she’s baffled by snow. Her flip-flop tan is something many dream about but few can achieve.

    Warning: This is straight up erotica, so don't go into it looking for a deep storyline, although I did enjoy what was there. (Tentacles...lots and lots of tentacles...hehe, I couldn't resist.)

    But seriously, I'll admit that I haven't read much (i.e. any actually) of the more bizarre erotica out there, so you could consider me a virgin to tentacle sex. Kelly Apple burst my tentacle cherry with this one and I kind of liked it. Should I say that aloud?

    It's really smexy, extremely well-written and I found myself completely and totally fascinated. Who knew what tentacles could do?? Wow, I'm feeling a bit gypped by not having a monster in my life. Again, I wonder...should I say that aloud? Regardless, it was a really fun and smexy read. Ari just thought she was turned on by the thought of monster's before. I foresee lots of visits to the bathroom...or the woods in her future.

    Hehe...I think I've found my new guilty pleasure and I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment of Kelly Apple's Monstrous Tales.

    In the mood for a story with a unique premise, I definitely found one that made me laugh and also feel the heated passion. I have read a few “monster” books, but none have been as well-written and enjoyable as what Kelly Apple had me visualizing in the first Monstrous Tales story. A woman secretly desires to have a sexual partner who is not human, never thinking her wish just might come true.

    Although she dreams of being with a supernatural creature, regardless of the species, Arabella Colton knows the likelihood of this occurring is zero. When she has to park faraway from campus one day because she is running late after indulging in a fantasy session for too long, she is in for a huge shock upon exiting her car. Arabella may be about to miss an important class, but what she learns is so much more pleasurable.

    From the very start, I was pulled into the erotic scenes because of their vivid descriptions. Any encounters that Arabella had with the monster are blazingly hot, and I am definitely eager to see where this unusual relationship might go. THE WICKED WOODS is imaginatively sexy.
