    Another fast moving, entertaining and humorous read from Andrene Low. Definitely a good holiday read, packed with action as well as interesting colourful and imaginative characters. Definitely a good follow up to the first book in the Marina Witches series. Now I am about to start on book 3. Loved the exploding rum balls, the gecko tormenting cat and Magda the energy vampire.

    The story itself is good, and the editing is acceptable. However, the author has a strange writing style - kind of like a sports announcer giving a play-by-play narrative. I found it distracting and won't be reading anything else by this author. Given her credentials, I expected better.
