    It feels like someone took random paragraphs and sentences from a longer book and stuck them together. I want to say this would be better a full length book but it would still be so qliché.

    Things in the story just happen. We don't get any character build, or any thought prorcess of the character. We didnt eve get to read about how to character react to things that happen to them beacase the story moves too fast.

    Sorry if I don't make any sence, English isn't my first language.

    This is basically an introduction to Silas D and the lead into Abel's story in Book 2. I liked Griffin, but I didn't really understand Andrew, although I'm glad they got a HEA. Will read Book 2 as the premise of what & who Silas is, is intriguing & whilst each book is about different couples, I hope that we will get more glimpses into who Silas really is & if he'll get his own HEA with his very own "collectible" one day.

    What I love about this author’s books is that the characters are all uniquely twisted in a way that normalises (in the best way) not being ‘normal’. Possessiveness, trauma, dark desires, anxiety, depression etc: they are all accepted as being a part of life, not something to be hidden away but something to be acknowledged and accepted. The concept of being healthy and whole is unique to each character and it is so beautiful to see. The characters find their own happiness however that looks like for them. So far, this series seems a bit lighter than her other series (which basically means I didn’t end up a sobbing mess which is what usually happens lol) so I’m excited to see how that develops (I really believe dark fluff should be more of a thing)!

    Silas reminds me a little of a mix of two of my favourite Charity Parkerson characters so I am super excited about this series and getting to see more. I can’t wait to see Able’s story!

    I absolutely love everything Charity writes ….she is a phenomenal author and this latest series starts off with Andrew & Griffin. They have a difficult and emotional journey, however they are perfect for one another and I cannot wait to see how this series evolves with new couples and especially if Silas gets his HEA.
    Highly recommend this book ….its a must read just like everything Charity has written 😍
