The Dragon's Enforcer, Hong Kong Triad, Feng Lung Group: Bleeding Souls Saved by Love (Fable Wars A Dark Mafia Romance) Kindle Edition

4.8 out of 5 stars 6 ratings

A Triad heiress who wants nothing to do with her father's legacy.
A rival gang enforcer who abhors violence.
Together, they must figure out who they are before each of their roles swallows them whole.

Charlotte Leung’s father, nicknamed Dragon Brother within the Hong Kong Triad, sent her overseas long ago to escape an underground life. But when he passes away, she returns home only to find that she is now the grand prize of a succession war. So before blood and violence can decide her future, she runs away, straight into the enemy faction’s territory.

Samuel Chan had made three major mistakes in his life. The first was running away from home to join the Ming Hain Tong Triad faction. The second was agreeing to let Big Brother train him to become an enforcer. The third was taking in the mysterious girl who stumbled into Big Brother’s training hall where he teaches. He should ditch her but something about his latest student brings out all his protective instincts. Now a world of trouble is heading for them both, and he must decide if he should be listening to his brain or his heart.

Because training the heir to the Dragon’ throne is only the beginning.

P. Stormcrow grew up with a love for love and somehow that turned into authoring contemporary and paranormal BDSM romances. Fierce women and sensitive men fill her stories while she examines social norms and challenges conventional tropes of the genre through her craft. She is the recipient of the 2021 inaugural Good Sex Awards in the category of Erotic Touch. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, she enjoys writing about both cultures.

In addition to being an author, she is also a techie, a graphic designer, a mother, a lover, a fighter and a little bit of everything else in between. When she's not typing away madly on her phone and running into poles, she enjoys copious amounts of tea, way too many sugary treats and as many sci-fi / fantasy / paranormal TV shows as she can sneak in time to watch.

The Enemies Daughter

The Enemies Daughter
I have yet to be disappointed by Author P. Stormcrow, yet I must admit I was sure this would be the book. Not because of her abilities, never that but because of my lack of interest in triads, mafias, or any sort of gang violence. Yet here I am happy to report I'm not disappointed at all in fact I wish it had been longer. Sam and Charolette quickly grabbed my attention and I needed to know what was next with mounting interest and anticipation. As always there was great attention to detail which is one of things that always draws me into P. Stormcrow's work it's never work to imagine the scenes she creats for the readers. Even though the length of the story was not long I felt I knew the whole of Charlotte's turmoil as she arrives home after a decade to lay her Father to rest. It is handled delicately as she must internalize it to survive what lies ahead without her father's protection. Sam ran from home when he was young, he felt he was only in the way and his sister was his parents focus. As a teen on the streets he was easily recruited by one of the gangs but his kind spirit never took to the life only his need to survive and help others do the same. When Charolette runs to enemy territory to survive and ends up at Sam's will he help when she lies to him, or will Charolette finally set him free? Get your copy and find out! I'm having a very hard time finding words for this review. I have been a huge fan of P. Stormcrow since her first book but this one seemed so far out of what I've come to expect by her that I was hesitant going in. How wrong I was to hesitate! I won't repeat the blurb because you can read that for yourself. What I will say is how much I loved the characters. Charlotte was fierce and feminine. But when I read "maybe because practicing martial arts was inherently a body ... touching ... thing …", she also became relatable and I was hooked!!! Sam was a perfect mix of sexy bada$$ and real man. If I wasn't afraid of Charlotte, I might steal him as my own. I was infatuated with the relationships, not just between the main characters but the friendships and loyalty, and the beautiful introduction to Chinese heritage found in this story was incredible. I am so in love with the whole story and genuinely hope I see some of theses characters in future stories. Amazing and beautiful 😍❤

Absolutely loved reading this one. It's a page turner that had my attention from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat turning those pages with the anticipation and excitement of needing to find out what's next. Sam and Charlotte's story is a must read you won't be disappointed. It's an excellent well written story that'll immerse you in a whole other world. Definitely recommend.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of The Dragon's Enforcer by P. Stormcrow. This first book reads as a stand alone read and is part of the Fable Wars A Dark Mafia Romance. Charlotte comes back to Hong Kong for her fathers funeral. As the only daughter of the Dragon Brother, she is the heiress to his Triad legacy. But others within the organization have different ideas. Sam is a martial arts teacher and owns a school that helps keep kids out of trouble. He's also an enforcer in the rival Ming Hain Tong Triad, but trades in favors as opposed to violence. When Charlotte is forced to run from her home she finds herself breaking into the school to escape her pursuers. The story is fast paced and entertaining with lots of action, drama, sexy heat and charming characters. A great anytime read that is hard to put down.

Heart-pounding intense action and drama? Realistic angst and espionage? Tough as nails and intelligent heroine? Respectful hero who is not only manly and tough but also sweet and caring? Yes, this book is all of those things all wrapped up in steamy and romantic little bow. And you need it in your life right now.
