LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH! OMG CALEB IS SO FREAKING DIRTY! The things that would come out of that boy's mouth! I was rooting for this couple throughout the entire book, even though at times I wanted to throw my kindle! The tension was off the charts. The bromance was EPIC. It's actually one of my fave things in this series of interconnected standalones. I ADORED this story and it's one of my favourites in the series!

    Oh Caleb. I've been waiting for your book. I certainly WAS NOT disappointed with this one. The biggest player out of the bunch who I've fallen head over heels for. One thing that was constant was my smile. Caleb never failed to keep one on my face. This guy is hilarious, and an absolute sweetheart. Who knew this guy had such hidden depths?     The Junior is the 3rd book in the College Years series by Monica Murphy and is the story of Caleb and Gracie, two players who are both allergic to intimacy and commitment. They’ve been circling and sniping at each other for years, but being roommates and coworkers have amped up the tension between the two of them. It took me a bit, but I ended up really enjoying this book! I’ve not read the two previous books in the series and truly felt a bit lost for the first third of the book. There were a lot of undercurrents between both the main characters as well as others that I had no reference for, leaving me feel very disjointed. As the relationship between them grew, it definitely flowed better and it was beautiful to read about. They both grew mentally and emotionally as they learned both learned that loving someone wasn’t a weakness nor a fool’s errand. The smexy times between them were super hot, but it was especially wonderful to how they both became great partners to each other. Definitely willing to give the next book a go!

    When Monica released the blurb for this book and we found out who Caleb’s love interest was, I was freaking beyond excited. The sexual tension between Caleb and his leading lady has been off the charts from the very beginning and I was super pumped to see how it would all play out.

    I absolutely loved that we got to dig deeper into Caleb and why he acts the way that he acts. We got to see a much more vulnerable and loveable Caleb in this story. And his character growth was inspiring honestly. Gracie’s growth was just as wonderful as Caleb’s. Both had a playboy/girl reputation and watching them deny their attraction and then act on it….AMAZING.

    This book was full of swoony as well as steamy moments. I will also say for those that were rooting for Baylee…trust Monica, everybody ends up with who they should. Now I need ‘The Senior’ to release ASAP because I’m broken just from the blurb!

    I have been waiting for a book on Caleb since he was in high school. He has always been a player and I was curious as to how he was going to be tamed. Gracie is his perfect mate since she considers herself to be a female version of Caleb. She keeps fighting what they have because she is convinced that things will end badly. Caleb tries his best to convince her otherwise. When they finally do get together, things are explosive. Caleb realizes that he's not afraid like how he thought he would be. Gracie, on the other hand, is afraid to go all in. When Caleb overheard Gracie telling her friends how she felt, he was devastated. When Gracie finally admits to herself how she really feels about him. She shows up at his game to surprise him and to tell him how she feels. However, Caleb is involved in something and she almost never got the chance. I really liked the ending and it sort of sounded like a marriage proposal. With everyone's stories coming to an end, I hope someone ends up getting married.

    I have really liked this series. I loved Caleb in every book, his fun loving life attitude. Yes his womanizing ways were a bit much but he made no bones about it. Gracie was okay and I kind of suspected based on their banter that they would eventually end up together. Gracie was the female version of Caleb. What I didn't like was even though at the onset of the series they had the same ideas and did the same things, now what he was doing was wrong but she didn't look in the mirror. I thought it was a little much how the way Caleb was living was womanizing but her way was not. I guess you can say they matured and figured life out.

Caleb’s charm is front and center. Then there’s Gracie who tries so hard to resist him. This couple is thrown together in every aspect of their lives and cannot fight the inevitable. You can see the bond forming from the moment they meet for the very first time. I love enemies to lovers, hate to lovers, not even friends to lovers, whatever you want to call it. The Junior is on top of my list for 2021 but hold on, I hear The Senior might just wreck me.

    I’m going to start off by being honest and saying that I didn’t really know what to expect from The Junior. Caleb and Gracie had yet to pique my interest and for that reason I wasn’t as excited as I had been to read the previous books in the series however, to my surprise this turned out to be my favourite book of the series so far. How had I not realised before how gorgeous Caleb was? That boy hid behind his rude mouth and dirty thoughts. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Caleb and his lovely family and I loved his relationship with Gracie. Their romance was both unpredictability sweet and insanely hot. I also adored getting to know Gracie. I loved how confident she was sexually. Something you don’t read often enough in romance novels. Gracie & Caleb were the perfect match in all areas and seeing them together made me happy. If you enjoy new adult romance, this series is well worth adding to your TBR.
