    … and I love this series. I love this author. At least I’m pretty sure I do, I think this series is the first of her books I’ve read. At any rate, I’ve loved every book in the series I’ve read so far, some of them more than others of course.
    Do yourself a favor and start with the first book - ‘Cowboy Heat’. You’ll keep going too. I just wish I could afford to go faster! This will be one of those series I read again & again.

    Ms. Sable created Micah Wolfe as a very colorful character. Not only is he a hero, former intelligence officer in the Seals, now a Rancher “and” writes erotic novels under the name of Don Juan. And that secret is about to be revealed.

    When he meets Madison Fellows at the Homeless Shelter he volunteers his time. She is only there because her mother and her terrible husband just showed up and moved into her apartment. She refuses to stay under the same roof as “that” man. Micah feels it, there is something different about Madison, but it doesn’t matter because a long time ago he closed his heart off so that he would not be hurt again by anyone.

    Micah gives Madison a very simple gift, a lock to keep her things safe while in the shelter. There is a story behind this simple lock that you will enjoy as it unfolds slowly in the story. As their interaction continues, Micah is afraid he is becoming addicted to Madison and not sure he wants to be without her. But, can either of them risk their hearts after being hurt by others?

    Micah meets Madison at a shelter. He was there providing food in honor of an old friend who had used the facility often, when alive. Madison had come looking for a place to stay for the night. Her mother and abusive husband had shown up at her apartment and moved in. The husband couldn't be trusted so she left, hoping their stay wouldn't be long.

    Micah takes a liking to Madison and she thinks he is her hero, her protector. He brings her to his house to stay till her apartment is safe.

    Their existence as a couple grows, but Madison knows it won't, can't last. She's not good enough for him and as she finds out more about him; his friends include the Governor, he has a lot of money, etc., She really knows she doesn't fit in.

    This story has the Equalizers going to Mexico to rescue Nathan McCoys mother and several other women and girls. There are misunderstandings that need to be addressed and an attempt on Madison's life makes Micah finally admit to Madison and himself that he loves her and can't lose her.

    Another wonderful story.

    I have really loved this series, the way the characters interact with one another through out. I also loved seeing Michah realize he could love someone. However, I didn't really like how the chapters were split up in this book. I will definitely still read the next one.

    Every time that Sable Hunter comes out with a new book I snatched it up immediately and devour it as rapidly as possible. Each time I swear that the new book is NEW FAVORITE. The story of Micah and Madison does not dissapoint, and has indeed become my "new favorite". Together with her writing partner, Ryan OLeary, Ms. Hunter has written a beautiful love story masterfully intertwined with her previous storylines. It is wonderful to visit with characters from her previous books and catch up with old friends. You can pick this up and read it as a stand alone, but it is much more fun to start with her first and read all of them. Sable and Ryan have a true talent for penning stories that make the reader feel connected with both the characters and the authors. It is my most fervent wish that they never run out of stories to tell.

    Madison comes home to find her mom and her husband in her apartment. She can't stay there. She leaves and goes to Angel House. Micah always provides his Brisket on this night in memory of his friend. Madison can't keep her eyes off him. He calls her Cinderella and provides her with a lock for locker to keep her bag.     Micah aids the Equalizers in trying to find Noah McCoy's mother in Texas. She is helping young girls get out after they are kidnapped. Also, there is someone throwing bricks off a bridge and hitting cars below that the Equalizers are trying to find.
    Can the Equalizers find Noah's mom in time? Can they find the person throwing the bricks off? Most importantly, is Madison the key to Micah's heart. Once again Sable has brought us an amazing story and characters to fall in love with!!!

    I loved this book about Micah and Madison in the latest Hell Yeah Equalizers series where Micah a sexy flirting rancher, equalizer, secret author with secrets so hidden with a wall around his heart, for protection to stop being hurt again.
