The Last Guy: A sexy, enemies to lovers romantic comedy Kindle Edition
From Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills and USA Today bestselling author Tia Louise...
The first rule of office romance is don't do it--especially if your dream is to hold the anchor spot on the nightly news and your boss is trying to get you fired.
But one look at Cade Hill, the sexy new sports director, and uptight reporter Rebecca Fieldstone is daydreaming about other things.
Sex in his office...
Sex in the on-set kitchen...
Sex in the supply closet...
She can't stop thinking about the former NFL quarterback and how perfect he'd look between her sheets--except he's an arrogant jerk with a huge... ego.
He's the last guy she'd ever have a one-night stand with.
Cade Hill draws a thick professional line on office romance--until it comes to the hyper-focused Rebecca. He wants her, and he gets his wish when a chance encounter has them having the hottest sex of their lives.
It's just a hook-up, she says.
When can we do it again? he says.
With Rebecca determined to keep Cade in the friend zone, it's going to be an uphill battle for Cade to convince her he's the last guy she'll ever want.
THE LAST GUY is a white-hot CONTEMPORARY ROMANTIC COMEDY featuring Fireball-fueled hookups, Doritos Locos Tacos, attack monkeys, toddlers in tiaras, and one fabulous drag queen. Prepare for frantic clicking (or page flipping!) and smoking-hot sexy times all the way to the out-of-this-world happily-ever-after.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2017I love me some Ilsa Madden- Mills! I love me some Tia Louise!! Put them together and BAM, you have a super team!!! The Last Guy was just sexy, witty, funny, and a great summer read that I just devoured!!! DEVOURED! If I didn't already know this was written by two authors I would assume it was written by just one person. The writing was seamless and effortless and since I'm a fan of both I would not be able to tell the two apart! The Last Guy is one you need to read!! It's a complete novel told in alternating points of views.
Rebecca is a reporter for a local news station with dreams to be a reporter. It just seems she cannot win for loosing! She is giving the crap jobs to report on and always makes the best of it. But when a story involving a monkey goes viral (this was just HILARIOUS!) it gives the station ammunition to keep her as a reporter instead of the anchor she strives to be!
And then there's Cade, let's just get the dreamy sigh over with now!! sigh.... What is not to love about the beefcake ex-NFL quarterback turned sports anchor? One night out with his brother he runs into Rebecca and they cannot deny the chemistry. One to many shots and a night of hotness will lead to many more memorable moments.
The supporting cast was also amazing!! These are the types of characters you want to pop out of your book and hang out with! They are hilarious and I hope we get a spin off or two in the future!
Something I wasn't expecting was a little suspense! The Last Guy has it all! This is one I highly recommend you pick up as its a perfect for a summer read!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2017When I saw that Tia Louise and Ilsa Madden-Mills were teaming up, I didn't care if it was a book about how to tie your shoes, I knew I had to read it. I absolutely devoured The Last Guy. I could pick up each writer's style but it was truly seamless from start to finish.
I absolutely adored Rebecca. She was fearless, quirky and full of determination. She loved her friends and her job and was chasing her dream. Throw a handsy primate and some glittery toddlers in the mix and all her hopes came spiraling down. It was one hilarious "can this really be happening"? moment after another. And when the sexy new sports guy gets roped into the drama that is unfolding, all bets are off. Because Cade admires Rebecca, he respects her and he wants in her skirt.
Things between these two were combustible. SO HOT! Their connection was more than skin deep and I loved seeing them open up to each other about their hopes and fears and life. I liked seeing them relax and just be. But when things get messy at work, Rebecca takes a much needed stand. I mentally high-fived her but also wanted to hug her because the choice she made wasn't easy. And when the rest of the pieces fell into place...can you say scandalous?
This quasi enemies to lovers, office romance was unputdownable. I flew through The Last Guy. Rebecca and Cade's story was charming and hysterical. It didn't hurt that they each had a fantastic side kick that brought the sass. Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise teaming up was a rom-com dream come true and all of my fingers, and toes, are crossed to see more from them soon!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2017The Last Guy, was a funny, hot, sexy and emotional read.
Cade Hill was an ex-NFL player, who started working as the Sports Director at the New Station where Rebecca Fieldstone was working as a News reporter.
They were both interesting and intriguing characters in their won right, but together they were explosive.
I absolutely adores Chas and Trent, and feel they would both have equally interesting and intriguing stories of their own!
The other characters also played integral parts in Cade and Becca's story.
They both had the hots for each other, you could feel the heat! but tried to deny their feelings.
Becca had some very interesting and awkward stories to cover, made more awkward situations, did I say awkward, some were hilarious!!
Becca and Cade were making headway with their relationship and trying to keep it under wraps but LOVE does not wish to stay hidden!
I loved the twists, it made the suspense worth the wait and I was not disappointed with the outcome.
I thought Petal was really sweet, but with an old head on her little shoulders.
Love, hurt, second chances, laughter and anger all appear, making this an all round entertaining read. Great company on a roadtrip, the miles sped past!
You will swoon over Cade as he is very sexy, and really cares about Becca.
You will love Becca who is and independent beautiful girl, but doesn't really know it. She wants to find 'the one' but is not actually actively looking.
Her boss was a grade A s@@t, and really got what was coming to him, as did Savannah!

They work at the same news station, she's one of the local reporter's and he is the sports director. They have lots of chemistry and have listed after each other for a few months since he started at the newsroom. She is vying for the news anchor position but had some bumps along the way. He at first is non-committal because of his football career but she wins him over in the love dept. At first when the get together it feels a bit rushed as imo they hadn't cemented their connection, so it it felt so much like a booty call. After this they work on their connection and they have lots more sexy times. It was an ok book with an ok storyline

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Solid Cade and Rebecca Stars
What a gorgeous book! The cover and blurb on this book grabbed my attention and the fabulous writing, characters and story line kept me with my nose in this book until the early hours. Then, despite sleep deprivation I was straight into it again the next day. I couldn't put this one down.
Rebecca is an awesome heroine. She made me laugh, cry, sigh and had me desperately rooting for her when all the cards seemed stacked against her. She is hilarious at times but that is tempered with her determination, honesty and dedication to her job. She is so likeable.
Cade is a former NFL superstar turned sports anchor for the same TV Network that Rebecca works for. There is some seriously intense chemistry between these two and eventually the inevitable happens and they have one hot night together....but will one night be enough?? Hell no....
Fantastic secondary characters, a fast paced plot and a swoonworthy love story gives this book the edge over many similar in this genre. It is sexy, sweet and funny - perfect for a lighter read but I still had tears in my eyes at times because I really felt for Becks.
I really hope these two authors collaborate again because the pages in this book practically crackled and shimmered with a special kind of energy that kept me hooked to the very end.
HEA? OMG! This is one of the loveliest epilogues ever. Cade and Rebecca are made for each other.
Cheating? No. Cade has a slightly bonkers and very clingy ex who keeps trying to wangle her way back to him but that ship had long since sailed

5.0 out of 5 stars Favourite Rom Com this year ❤️🔥😂❤️
I loved absolutely everything about this book. I would give it more stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's going straight onto my Favourites of 2017 Shelf.
I don't remember the last time I smiled so much while reading a story and I laughed so loudly at school pick up (I couldn't put the book down) that all the mums were giving me funny looks. Whatever - if only they were reading the awesomeness that was Cade and Rebecca ❤️🔥❤️
This book honestly has it all.
Cade is seriously hot and swoony ✅
Rebecca is smart and feisty ✅
Her best friend Chas might just be my favourite best friend character ever ✅
Witty Dialogue ✅
Sex scenes that will make your kindle melt ✅
The right amount of sweet to have you smiling and doing little happy sighs ✅
Add to this worms and Star Trek and you've got the recipe for the year's best romantic comedy. I will be telling everyone I know to read this book ASAP.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent
I loved this book. Although partly predictable, it is so well written that I did not want to let it go before the end of the narrative. There is no dead time and we quickly get attached to the characters.
