The Last Witch: An Earth Magic Grimoire Kindle Edition
An ancient witch in modern society... what could possibly go wrong?
No mercy would be shown this night. The Last Witch closed her fingers around a bottle and with the force of a hurricane, slammed it at her feet releasing the precious gravesite dirt. She stepped onto the ancient soil, ignoring the glass as she curled her toes into the glorious mess she’d made.
Now she had them.
She shifted once more, hoping to cover the exposed dirt with her long skirts, but quickly realized in her true form, her skirts no longer touched the floor.
The Last Witch smiled to herself.
“You fools! You think to attack me?”
“The time has come, crone,” a disembodied voice said from a murky mass swirling on the ceiling of the attic. A ball of the green putrid flame roared at her. She flipped it away with a flick of her wrist, but the stench it left behind rocked her.
“Crone? What crone do you see?” Why did dark magic have to smell so bad, she wondered and doubled over quickly to grab handfuls of the dirt. She straightened with purpose.
“Upon my flame, I bind ye. To the wind, I cast thee. Beneath the deepest hallow, I condemn ye. Never to rise again, shall thee! Foolish foul ghoul, you are beneath me!” She threw the dirt at the darkness and blew. Her breath carried the precious soil toward the ceiling, and it burst into brilliant blue flames.
Seconds later, four screaming creatures hurled themselves at the ceiling in hopes of escape.
Escape they would not find.
After wraiths attack Thornwood Manor, the Last Witch believes it's time to awaken the witch souls who had been placed in a death slumber for centuries.
It's now or never. After all, the witches are nearly extinct, save one last survivor.
The first soul awakes to red-eye shadow snakes, ancient lake monsters, and a frigid lightless knight.
All with one goal; stop the first of the Thirteen from making it to the safety of Thornwood manor.
Magic, wolf shifters, evildoers, and incredible witch power Cassandra has no idea how to use.
Will she be the first of the thirteen to make it to the safe haven of Thornwood Manor? Or will all be lost for the magic and human world forever?

The Earth Magic Series
Earth Magic Volume 1
The Last Witch
Elsie is the last witch left on earth. That is until the final battle was brought to her door during a savage attack. The peace and tranquility she'd found in the coastal Santa Cruz mountains had come to an end. No sooner had she come to that realization when the wolf guardian Maximillian arrived at Thornwood Manor on the heels of a brutal strike against his pack. It soon became clear it was time to awaken the slumbering ancient coven of souls that resided in the bodies of unsuspecting human women.
The race was on. The Death Magis would stop at nothing to halt the awakening witch souls and their quest to reunite with Elsie.
One witch is a powerful foe. Two would be enough to shift the favor of the final battle... and each side knows it.
Would the first soul make it to the safety of Thornwood Manor before Death Magic found her? Or would all be lost?
Earth Magic Volume 2
Sharp Stones
Elsie discovers the location of the next ancient witch soul; Lizbette the Gifted.
She believes she has successfully awoken one of the best spell casters in witch history. Little does she know the human who carries this powerful soul is a hot mess in every sense of the word.
And she's southern. Cajun-style southern and is not one bit interested in spells, herbs, crystals, or anything that has to do with magic.
Growing up around Louisiana bayou's she's had all she ever wanted to see or hear about hoodoo voodoo.
That is until the vampires arrive. Then the game changed entirely and became a race against time ... a life or death race.
And Elsie, the Last Witch, has no power to help.
Earth Magic Volume 3
Witchery
When Elsie learns an ancient witch soul never fell properly into its slumber, as the original spell intended, hope begins to slip.
Not only was she never truly the last witch left on earth, but her coven sister was left to die repeatedly; only to be reborn into a new human body; magic, and memories fully intact.
Will this be the final straw? Will Elsie concede to the dark and leave humanity to fend for itself? Or will she pick up the gauntlet and continue the battle, in order to save man... and witch kind?

T Wells Brown - Author
I've held this series in my heart for decades. I literally live and breathe for these characters.
My favorite stories are of secret magic that exist in our world without our knowledge. The idea that otherworldly beings and magical creatures live around us is enchanting. The excitement and wonder of discovery remain my favorite story elements to this day and keeps the gift of imagination alive.
I hope these tales of honor and fellowship touch you in some small way... just as they have for me.
An ancient Witch in the modern world.... what could possibly go wrong?

About the author

Growing up as an airforce brat in the deep south, T Wells Brown was that kid - you know, the one who thought kissing frogs was a legitimate dating strategy and turned her mother's hair prematurely gray by parading mud-covered crawdads through the kitchen. When she wasn't busy looking like a polka-dotted mess from poison ivy (calamine lotion was practically her signature perfume), she was plotting her next creek-side adventure.
Fast forward through a few dozen notebooks and a mountain of coffee, and voilà - she's now the mastermind behind the Women of Wine Country romantic suspense series (where the wine flows as freely as the danger), the Earth Magic fantasy series (because regular magic is so last century), and the Sisters of Sin collaboration (which is exactly as deliciously wicked as it sounds). She also moonlights as a feature writer for Best Version Media, spreading local gossip - er, news - the professional way.
After thirty years of living the California wine life, she decided to boomerang back to her Gulf Coast roots with her dream man in tow. Now she spends her days writing novels that make him lose his socks (literally - they're still looking for some of them) and herding their motley crew of furry overlords on their coastal homestead.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2022Wow, this was a wild tale!
From the beginning you can feel the world-building is deep. I love a book that brings you along as the story unfolds, and that is what is happening in this first book.
Evil is awakening. And for a long time, good has waited patiently in the background waning in strength, but still vigilant. The time is coming, but there is only one last witch to fight—unless she can awaken the souls of her thirteen sisters to come back and fight before all is destroyed.
I love a premise of true evil against true good. I guess I like to believe that the good fight will always continue and triumph in the end.
This book follows the last witch, the one that stayed and watched. One sister (witch) awakens, and it looks like each book will follow one of the next 12. Elsie's (the Last Witch) story is the cement that holds the series together.
This story was Cassandra's awakening. I enjoyed her view on the magical world in which she's just been thrust unknowingly. Each new witch is just a human with an ancient witch spirit reborn in them, and the spirit must be awakened so that they can access the fullness of the memories and power of their past lives.
It's a very clever premise, and T Wells-Brown does it flawlessly, with great style. Can't wait for more books to come out! Definite recommend for lovers of good urban fantasy, witches, and the fight between good and evil!

By Bernadine Chapman-Cruz
For centuries, ancient witch covens have been silenced from the earth by ever present evil forces in an attempt to overtake the world. Sinister entities covertly stalk the few remaining witches who have been in a black magic state of slumber. Even though incapacitated for hundreds of years, the remaining witches retain an undeniable sisterly bond with their own kind.
Elsie, the last remaining witch, after surviving a tumultuous battle with evil forces, realizes the witch clan’s white magic must rule again. She sets out to awaken the witch coven, starting with Cassandra, a young woman existing in mortal form, sleeping under the evil spell.
Out of nowhere, Cassandra begins experiencing attacks from evil sources. Unexpected meterological phenomenon begins to taunt. She tries to shake off feelings of foreboding as well as the chaos infiltrating her life. A somewhat atypical personality in mortal form, Cassandra has always felt somehow disconnected, even though she is a conscientious entrepreneur, kind and benevolent to those she meets. The closer Cassandra gets to awakening her magical powers; she realizes they were there all the time.
T. Wells Brown exposes the fight between good and evil through grotesque monsters, demons, vampires and unsavory spirits in a variety of unusual characters emerging from the underworld. Whether by land, sea or sky, black magic awaits for the next quest in annihilating the witch tribe for all eternity.
When on a mission to right wrongs it’s hard to stand alone. However, Elsie has a shift changer guardian wolf Maximillian, who she has marked to be with her for eternity. Like others of his kind, there is an irreversible romantic bond between witches and their choice guardians, where protection, romance, and everlasting soulmate relationships exist.
Not only is the reader plunged into an enchanting world of fantasy, but assimilates to the witches and wolves intense struggles with a wholesome intimacy that builds through the pages. The author’s descriptive use of sensory narrative allows the reader to feel like an actual participant throughout the story.
T. Wells Brown’s, The Last Witch, the first book in her Earth Magic Saga Series, captures the heart, mind, and soul.
