This a second chance romance that was filled with raw undeniable passion, and swoon worthy characters. Utterly addictive this slow burning second chance love story that was an angst lovers dream. The first half of the story shows how these two met, and the chemistry was sizzling. You could feel the burn through the pages. But when it is present-tense I did feel as if Dylan Allen moved more away from their relationship to family secrets / drama . . . shifted more to romantic suspense. That was my only complaint . . . Now I will say this book was not what I was expecting, in a good way. It's an angst fueled roller coaster. Buckle up, and enjoy the ride.

    I read this story because of the beautiful cover and not so friendly slaps from book friend. And these slaps were the best thing that happened to me because I am Dylan Allen new happy stalker.

    This story was beautiful, from the mysterious Prologue to mindblowing Epilogue. I loved Remi and Kal so much my heart was cheering for them from the very first page and breaking in moments of helpless. When everything was going to be great (in my mind) the plot took unexpected turns. The Legend contains everything a heart desire: strong heroes, suspense, love, happiness, steamy scenes and also happy and sad moments. The story was well written and consuming.

    The Legend showed me that it is good to believe in soul mates and if you are destined to each other you will find your way to your own beautiful happy ending. I can only swoon over Remi and clap for Kal because I love strong and stubborn heroes.

    I can't wait for the next stories and I am sure I will read previous books (my friend even shouted titles to me).

    In Dylan Allen's exquisitely manufactured community of Rivers Wilde, I found all the very real-world issues that humans deal with on a daily basis. I also found a tenacious spirit of hope that transcends the hazards we encounter during our life journey.

    The first time they met bonded them for life. Timing just never seemed to be on their side. They both had to live through their own hell to finally get the love that they both deserved...together!

    Remington Wilde was bred to lead his family. To run the family business and be legendary in their town. However, Remi had plans of his own!

    Kal had her own dreams but getting there was going to be a struggle. She came from meager beginnings and a struggling single mother whose solution was to find a wealthy man.

    Two kids who made a lasting impact on one another. They would be in and out of each other’s lives for the next twenty years. This story definitely tore me apart and broke my heart...more than once! But it also made Kal & Remi’s love and their union that much sweeter!

    This love story spanned decades and began to develop when they were in middle school. It started as two people who bonded because of their lackluster home life. A love that flourished when they were reunited in high school. Then torn apart by lies and deceit, their path was forever changed. But a love like their’s, always finds a way back.

    Book three cannot come soon enough. Rivers Wilde is one of my favorite places to visit.

    Then the middle my heart shattered for Remi and I was a blubbering mess, this time I was screaming in my head at Kal.

    Remi is everything - romantic soft and gentle yet that hot filthy mouth of his - whoa he left me in a puddle a couple of time’s !
    Kalilah is the heroine you admire and adore , the underdog in the plot where you want nothing more for their to triumph and hold her head high showing the higher class she’s better than them by a mile.
    I expected The Legend to be as good as The Legacy I just didn’t expect it to be better , I mean how could it be? But it is, everything was just more and I couldn’t get enough.
    An incredible story in and journey of this series and I now wait in so much anticipation for The Jezebel, I only hope aswel as it been a new storyline we still get the family history one running alongside too as there is still too much I need to know !

    This is Remi ( Remington ) Wilde’s story he also has the nickname The Legend because of his sports prowess , the Rivers and the Wilde’s are two very dysfunctional families , but I think this story about the Wilde family takes the title of dysfunctional to the next level . Remi has a chance meeting at the age of fourteen ,with Kal ( Kalilah ) a girl who’s a bit younger than him both are hiding out in the library at Remi’s house as his mother has a party which he hates . A problem arises when Kal’s mother who is not welcome there as she has a shady past and is asked to leave well she’s practically thrown out by Remi mother , who as it happens is really not a nice person . The two meet again about four years later when Remi walks into the book shop that Kals mother was opening , soon the two realise that they enjoy being in each other’s company and they start spending more and more time together . Sadly their brief time together is coming to an end as Remi is due to go away to college which pleases his scheming mother & grandfather as they see Kal as an unsuitable partner for Remi . In fact Remi’s mother sees to it that she extinguishes any spark of romance they may have had just before Remmi goes to college ,she then proceeds to blackmail Kal’s mother into move away from the area. The couple do meet again a few years down the line at Reagan’s ( Remi’s twin sister ) wedding . Remington now with Joni a girl who is thought as very suitable by his family and Kal engaged to be married very soon as she’s now pregnant ......... This story has a lot going but it’s well written so you don’t feel that you’re missing out on anything . What is amazing is how many dirty deeds that the Wilde family senior members have done in the past and so many lies that they have said but as with all good stories it’s only a matter of time before they all start coming to the surface . The real question is there a HEA for Remi & Kal if you’ve read the first book you’ll know that answer 😉❤️❤️. Next one is Reagan’s story we’ve already had a little tease at the end of this one ...... can’t wait 😍😍.

The love that Remi and Kal have for each other is so powerful. They have to go through so much, and face so many obstacles but denying themselves of it, is like trying to live without oxygen they just can’t do it. What a beautifully written story with loads of ups and downs. Just loved the characters.

    Remi and Kal meet when they’re around 14 years old, and have an instant connection but they come from very different worlds and don’t meet again until years later. They still have that instant connection and friendship which leads to them falling in love, but again their worlds rip them apart. So many lies, it’s heartbreaking reading them go through all that pain and suffering. Family can be so cruel!
