    I find the characters somewhat frustrating, as are most real people. The hero is terribly flawed and those around have a long way to go to the eventual conclusion. Don’t get me wrong the author is talented and most of my issues are of personal preference. I will continue this journey when I find the next book without a doubt and hope for some ends to be tied together.

    C.S. Bass has continued the thrill ride in Book 3. The Shigatas' home is destroyed and the Sages have been kidnapped. Both Godwin and Yaura feel the need to try to get a proclamation to gather their remaining brethren and rebuild their home. The plot thickens with the introduction of the Shigata Logun. He becomes involved with Galleos royal heir and assists in a conspiracy against the King. The heavens are in constant motion. Will the hero survive? Will his Shigata brethren regroup? How does the prophecy affect the land? The Tarsurian soldiers attack the country in guerrilla warfare. Godwin is wanted to fight demons of all kinds, including werewolves from the Eastern cult of Asanimara. Luckily he recovers his magical sword but can he win the fight even as his former teacher arrives on the battlefield? As an ARC reader, I am excited to see more of the dark fantasy revealed and look forward to the next installment.

    I am an Honest ARC reviewer , And so far this epic series has kept my attention through all three books, As the Worlds gets fleshed out more with every adventure that Godwin is forced to undertake , and as his companions head in their different directions to accomplish their goals,you get immersed into the Plot as it unfolds A real Page turner to dive into.

    I have been reading this series with great anticipation for almost a year now, finally we're at the halfway point and it's all I could have wanted, I don't want to spoil anything, but Vass has a written quite a mystery for this masterwork of fantasy.
