The Rogue Captain (The Lost Planet Series Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 300 ratings

I’m the master of my world.
A ruler from the skies of a lost planet.
The ship captain who watches from above.
Until an alien invades my heart and everything changes.

She’s from another world and doesn’t want saving, for she’s on a quest of her own.
Feisty and fiery, she burns bright like the sun.
I crave to capture her and keep her.
To hold the sparkling female in my arms forever, uncaring if I get burned.

A chance mission given by my commander has us sequestered on the Mayvina all alone.
I only have a few solars to prove to her how good we can be together.
It’s simple to me: handsome mort plus lovely alien equals mates forever. Right?

Wrong.

Nothing I say or do has an effect. She’s as stubborn as I am good looking.
She’s the one thing I can’t control. A star shooting across the sky, never meant to be caught.

But I will catch her heart.
It’s written in the stars.

We can be more than a space fling.
We can be everything.

I just have to convince her first.

Calling all the sexy aliens! This is another amazing story in The Lost Planet series. K Webster and Nicole Blanchard did a superb job telling Theron and Willow's story. I love the banter between these two. The chemistry was fiery and sensual. The Rogue Captain was fun, steamy, intoxicating and amazing overall. I cannot recommend this series enough, it's so good. I wish I had my own rekking alien. If you love sci-fi romance, this is a must read.

Theron is so sweet & adorable but just a tad bit narcissistic. He’s definitely a romantic and he has his work cut out for him to get an HEA with hostile, headstrong Willow.
Their story is a ton of angst, steam, and emotional scenes. They have a lot of miscommunication with each other but I really like how it was written. They would have a conflict due to miscommunication but then become aware they had misunderstood each other and talk it out. That was really refreshing to read instead of having it dragged out before the couple talks it out.

What I really love about this series is each couple is so different in each book and so different in their interactions with each other.

Willow just wants to have a fling while Theron is determined to make her his

The plot is filled with suspense as a new threat emerges. Most of the book takes place on Mayvine, Theron’s ship, as Theron&Willow travel to the Facility to bring Avrell to the Prison to help find a cure for the Rades. I really enjoyed the change in location again and I think it really helps in the pacing of the plot.

Overall another quick, action packed read with a romance that continues to hit the mark.

Webster and Blanchard keep making each book better than the last. Seriously each mort is my favorite until the next book comes out. Theron blew me away, I totally did not expect his story to be what it was. It rekking rocked my world.
The back stories for both Theron and Willow broke my heart and had me shedding a few tears.
I wanted to ring her neck for being so stubborn about the "space fling". The way Theron was completely consumed by her and had eyes for her (well certain body parts, hahaha) while trying to play it off was masterfully written.
I hope the next book comes out soon because where these two mortarekkers left off has me dying all the deaths for the next book.

As we continue with the series we now wonder whether we'll find a Harem romance as we now have more females than morts and while am curious as how the series will continue I wonder if the mortlings will get a follow up series.

I enjoyed this particular book for its passion as this couple tries to explain a casual relationship that to a committed male is just plain alien, a mystery has also been created thanks to this single mom and son that have run, the plot thickens in this installment and I can't wait for more.

With each book I feel the series is getting better. This installment definitely had less wishy washy timeline stuff happening and for the most part it was pretty straight forward with the story taking place mostly on the the way to pick up Averill and then bring him to the prison.

While I loved the smugness of Theron is great and I love him, Willow wasn't the best match for him. I enjoyed the book immensely and read it in a day, but I would have liked to have seen some more from Willow.

Theron and Willow ❤️ Absolutely LOVED this book, just like every other Lost Planet book. Theron is adorable, adored him. The whole series is just put together so well and has a different twist and originality to it then others have lately. This is something I can really appreciate. The steaminess helps too. 😁😁

If you ever asked me would I read an alien book the answer would be never until I read these books I'm addicted now. This is the 6th book in the lost planet series and what a page turner it is. This is Theron and Willows book following on from book five they have a mission to bring Avrell back to Exilium to help save the people who have caught the Rades. Theron and Willows journey is interesting shall we say as much as they love to annoy each other and believe me they do there is also a chemistry between them. When Willow suggest they have a space fling Theron has no idea what that means but he sure is up for it but once he has a taste of Willow he want's more he want's her as his mate. And he will do anything to make that happen Willow is Molly daughter and all Theron want's to do is make them both happy. Let's just say the mission will leave you shouting out loud holding your breath and waiting for the next book and yes we have a 7th book bring it on.

I liked this one. The Morts are learning a lot more about humans and we got to see more of what's happening beyond the planet they live on.

I did enjoy Theron and Willow. Theron is arrogant in a endearing way and Willow was incredibly stubborn. They were sort of like a match made in heaven or in the stars.

Looking forward to the next one 😊
