A great sci-fi romance full of characters I love!!
I love a good sci-fi romance and this one hit every note for me. Granted, I haven't read the other books to this series but I didn't feel lost (and I have them in kindle waiting on me now, after reading this one) and I loved every single word. Galen longs to find his mate so he can have what his brothers have. He is a mort of action and proves it when he answers the distress call from Stella. Stella escaped from the clutches of the evil government that was holding her and son, Henry, prisoner. Not one to easily trust others after everything she has been thru, she has no choice but to take the help offered by Galen. These two together - oh my heart. Stella claims she isn't brave, but her actions speak so differently. She shows she will do everything and more to protect those she loves. Galen made me swoon so much especially when he said "There won't be any promises from me. Only actions. I will give you the all the action you need." He broke down Stella's barriers and he followed thru with his actions. Kristi and Nicole created a world of characters I fell in love with, where the action seems to never die down and when a quiet moment comes about, it's cherished and enjoyed. I really enjoyed how fast paced it is yet it doesn't feel rushed. There are no other words to describe this amazing story but to say is pure perfection.

    This is the ninth and final book in the Lost Planet series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, enemies, survival, intrigue, humor, mystery/secrets, surprises, family, friends/friendships, anger, fear, pain, conflict, resolution, confusion, confidence, strength, courage, trust, truths, stubbornness, struggles, protection, betrayal, tension, arrogance, doubts, turmoil (emotional), annoyance, complications, jealousy, hate, desperation, acceptance, chaos, sadness, mistreatment, destruction, possessiveness, hope/hopelessness, memories, confrontations, frustration, determination, patience, happiness, romance, passion/lust and love.
    OMG! What a fitting ending to this series. The Morts, their mates and younglings lives are in the balance. The H in this book just want someone to call his own and the h doesn't trust males, human or aliens. Can the H change her mind?

    This was such a blast to read!! Ok I am still in awe of these amazing authors and the incredible world they’ve created and these sexy AF morts and their awesome mates. I think I read this story through blurred vision because I was crying for a good chunk of this book. The mama in me completely understood that determination to keep your baby safe and doing whatever it takes. The purest and fiercest love. And Stella will do anything to keep her sweet baby boy Henry from harm.
    Galen was so dang swoon worthy. He was all in instantly and he won me over completely. I loved how determined he was to prove him worthy of having Stella as his mate and to call Henry his own. Cue the waterworks folks.

    I don’t want to spoil anything about the plot (shocker, I know) but it did not disappoint. If anything it delivered and then some!! I love these morts!!! I love these women!!! I really don’t want this to be the end. I’m ready for the second generation to get their own series. I am so dang greedy because I also would love to know more about the other morts that come in to help save the day too!!! So much still to be discovered. Please please keep Mortuus alive!!!
    To say I loved this series finale and entire series would be an understatement. I rekking loved it!!!! From the amazing characters, laugh out loud dialogue and the social commentary, I loved it all!!!!

    Ahh mort! Finally everyone has their HEA.

    Although this one did feel rushed a bit, I enjoyed revisiting these Siena and their brave females.

    The chemistry was off the charts good song with with the action.

    Sad to see these character go but loved the ride every bit of the way.

    Ahh, a bittersweet ending to a great series. I have loved getting to know all of the Morts and their mates, and eventually all of their kids, and was sad to see it all come to an end. But perhaps the last few chapters have opened the door to more books in this world?!

    As far as this story goes, I was a little underwhelmed with the coupling. I believed their love and it's progression, but for as short as the book was, I didn't feel like there were enough scenes of them together, physically and not. I needed more of them as a couple, and a family with Henry.

    The only thing I didn't like about this book is the fact that it is the end of the series.
    I'm so so happy Stella and Henry reappeared and were "safe" and able to reach Galen on the comms for help. Once again I can't choose which of the morts is my favorite because Galen loves just as firecely as the others.
    I really hope there are spinoff series to this because these mortarekkers will stay with me for a long time.

    My Mort loving heart has finally been filled with happiness. Galen finally gets his mate. All of our favorite Morts have finally been paired off and we finally see the end to his horrible war. It's an ending that definitely surprised me. But it's a good one. This is definitely a series that you need to read in book order to understand. And now that it's complete don't hesitate to take advantage and read it all at once.

    I loved Galen and his determination to save Stella and Henry. He didn't even hesitate when she called for help. So many times he would have willingly gone to the Eternals for her. Now that's swoon-worthy. Stella I had mixed feelings for. I loved her strength and determination to keep Henry safe. I understood her trust issues. But I didn't understand why she didn't trust or befriend some of the other females. They were all in the same situation (even though she was the only one with a child). Henry I loved. Who wouldn't love his adorable-ness.

    I also loved the epilogue. Thank you. That is something that we truly needed. Just seeing them all happy and raising their own families was heart warming. This was definitely worth the wait.
