Ty Winslow is an English-Lit professor at New York University. Thankfully, the head of the department, Nathaniel Rose has taken him under his wing to help him grow. Ty tends to be the love 'em and leave 'em type never getting serious, just having a good time. When Ty attends his brother's grand opening of his new idea, The Secret Club....where fun sensuous challenges are done, he's shocked when a gorgeous woman comes up to him while dancing; flirts with him and then hands him her barely there underwear and walks away. Dang that was hot!

Back at work after winter break, Nate asks Ty if he would let his youngest daughter, Rachel be his TA for the next semester. Of course Ty agrees not realizing who his daughter is. When Rachel and Ty meet again she pretends like she doesn't know him and their fun little game begins. The two of them keep doing or saying things to the other to catch them off guard. There are MANY fun, laugh out loud moments. Of course the more time these two spend together, the more their desires flare until they finally give in. Now that they crossed that line, they can't seem to stop and have to keep their relationship a secret. Everything is going wonderfully until it all blows up. It will take some looking deep down inside oneself to realize that they have to trust in this relationship in order for it to work but once that is realized, they have the perfect happy ending!

I just adored this steamy, forbidden type of romance story. Ty was just oozing with sensuality and was so HOT. I loved how Rachel enjoyed their little game of back and forth and kept one-upping Ty. This story had wonderful characters and a fun, laugh out loud story line. You also get a glimpse into Remy's story!

This was another good one in this series.

I enjoyed the chemistry between these two characters. It was fun to read the struggles these two had, and the trying to deny the intensity of their connection.

I was expecting a bit more of a "laugh out loud" read...we all know they bring the funny!! (Because really, Thatch?! Just hysterical...)

This book is definitely not hysterical funny.
Then what is it you ask?

It is sweet, steamy and easy to read.
It is entertaining, addictive, well-written and hard to put down.
It has great characters and a story line that is exactly what we expect from this duo.

I absolutely adore Ty and Rachel's relationship. I was a bit frustrated with them throughout the read, but their HEA was wonderful. It was nice to "visit" with the Winslows again. I look forward to reading Remy's story.

It is my sincere recommendation that you read this story in the correct published reading order. (Preferably after the other series attached to these characters.) Totally worth the time.

The Winslow brothers are so much fun to read about. I loved Jude and Flynn ad never thought Ty could've anything but a player. This book really showed who Ty is and he is sexy (duh) playful and very smart. I always like Cleo the fortune teller and getting to meet her again with Ty. I really liked Rachel she was relatable and I loved having a female that was proud of her body and was so confident. The way Rachel meets Ty I loved because it was her confidence in herself. Following this couple through the book and no matter how hard they tried to stay away from each other they always came back together. Rachel really finds herself by the end. The spicy parts of this book are HOT and never disappoint.
One of my favorite parts about this series is getting to read about the other brothers and catch up with them and what they are doing. The Winslow family makes me want a family like theirs. I'm so looking forward to finding out Remy's story and if the fortune teller predicted his future correctly.
If you need a funny, romantic and spicy book then I recommend it. I gave it 5 stars because I didn't want to out it down, I laughed and was very jealous of Rachel and the things her and Ty did together 😉

This book probably has the most sex scenes of the series, which makes sense because it's Ty, but it also probably contributes to a number of weaknesses in the story.

Let's start with WTF doesn't Ty pay Cleo for her time in their scene? She's a business owner, and yet she spews all that for nothing? No wonder she had to move her business to NJ. SMH.

The scene where Rachel's dad warns her off from Ty comes off differently than I think the authors intended. Maybe because it so closely followed the Anna Karenina lecture about Tolstoy's stance on women, but the scene make Professor Rose add misogynistic to his list of negative traits when he puts all the responsibility of negative aspects of a relationship with Ty on Rachel's shoulders. His next scene, he gives Ty a gift, which just adds to that impression that he thinks it's the woman's fault. This made him not feel redeemable to me.

I'm also not clear why introducing Rachel to his family makes them take her seriously as a love interest when in Jude's book, the implication was that they just stopped trying to find out. I assumed Ty stopped introducing them because of the freeze out, not the other way around. Also, in this scene, Remy comes off as super creepy to Rachel, which again, I don't believe the authors intended.

The book was otherwise an entertaining read, and I'll continue reading the series and other Max Monroe books, but the above irritated me. I'll put this down as just a below norm effort.

Ty's a bit of playboy, likes a bit of a joke, doesn't take life seriously. Whilst he is out with his brothers celebrating, one of his brothers new venture, even Ty is a bit surprised when a beautiful woman, that he has never seen before walks up hands him hands him something of hers that he was expecting! Rachel is a strong sassy heroine, though her Dad does like to interfere in her life, just a bit which she is how she ends up being a TA to Professor Winslow also known as hotest guy at the club and owner of Rachel's............

I laughed so much reading this, I had tears running down my face from laughing so much. Their connection and chemistry was instant! I can't wait for Remi's story though I will be sad to say goodbye to these Winslow brothers and this group! Massive 5 stars from me.

I don't know why but for some reason I put off reading this series for a while. Once I started reading it however, I completely devoured all 4 books in a week. The whole series was great, so entertaining, and sweet, heartfelt and steamy. I absolutely love Max Monroe books, there's something about them that just feels like an early 2000's rom com. This one was a great another great addition, I loved them all but I think either Flynn or Remi are my favourites. All the stories were equally entertaining. Deffs worth the read. Happy reading!

Oh my what a fantastic read this one was! I can’t get enough of the Winslow crew and I think this just may be my favourite one yet! The Secret is book 3 of the Winslow Brothers series by @

As always Max Manroe knows how to keep you laughing out loud, the conversations between the brothers, text messages, joking all that is just fantastic! And let’s not forget a fun meet cute and great little game main characters Ty and Rachel play at the start of this book!

Ty is brilliant! Easy to fall in love with him and his ridiculous ways!
I love how strong, smart and confident Rachel is! She really gives him a run for his money and can easily be the one to bring him to him knees!
It’s this intense sexual tension and chemistry they have between but also this underlying instant connection that had a little tug-of war going on inside them both. They know they should maintain a profession relationship, but you can feel this pull between. That goes so much deeper than just lust.

So playful with each other, shows how connected and comfortable they are. But at the same they bring out the best qualities in one another. They challenge each other both academically and personally.

There is some obstacles these two both have to overcome, and it was great watching them navigate it. There was a sense of realistic problems that people face in every day life.

I couldn’t put this book down, it was captivating I could stop laughing and the spice level with these two….off the charts!

Can’t wait to see what these authors have in mind for eldest brother Remy!!
