Ugh these two are impossibly, adorably, tooth-achingly sweet. Harmony is busting her hump to make ends meet going to Brentwood. Holt is a trust fund kid with a full ride on the baseball team - and a heart condition that flares up with stress. He annoys her to no end but he's persistent and wins her over with charm and silliness. Everything is going great til she gets pregnant and Holt starts to stress out too much. But of course they make their way through the bumps. 3/5 spicy

Holt and Harmony’s story is a fast-paced, entertaining, whirlwind of a college romance. These two fall fast but when they know they know. The majority of their story is set in the honeymoon phase of their relationship, giving limited conflict throughout. Holt is such a thoughtful friend and boyfriend to Harmony that it is a challenge not to fall for him. Stubborn and independent, Harmony is a strong FMC. The two together provide an adorable, supportive relationship that is mature beyond their years. As always, Meghan gives us love, laughs, and everything in between with Holt and Harmony’s story.

Seriously I've been anxious with the turmoil of these books and this was a breath of fresh air. Still some turmoil and a little heartache but not as nerve wracking as the others. Awesome read!

This was an enjoyable listening experience overall. The story was well-plotted, and the banter between the H and h was top-notch. Meghan Quinn is quite good at banter, and the chemistry between Holt and Harmony made their exchanges particularly sparkling. Holt was incredibly charming but still so grounded; it’s refreshing when a H is so self-aware and can communicate that through both his words and actions. Holt knows who he is, what he wants and also what he deserves; he isn’t afraid to call Harmony out when she’s being narrowminded, which happens quite a bit in the beginning. His high level of self-awareness did lead to one of my few quibbles with this story – it made the third act conflict (which is centered around his reactions and behavior) seem a bit forced as it was such a shift from what he had been for the majority of the story; so, it felt like it was forced to manufacture conflict. Still, this was a minor flaw and was resolved fairly quickly. Harmony’s character arc was perhaps the more pronounced between the two mains; she’s a bit set in her vision of others, quick to judge them. But she does come around and allow herself to see the limitations of those kinds of judgements; she has a strong relationship with her parents and her best friend, and these relationships help to soften some of her rougher flaws. There are also strong supporting characters here; Holt’s baseball buds were fun, but I absolutely adore Priya (Harmony’s best friend). She is just so fierce in her loyalty, but not afraid to call the h out when Harmony is getting it wrong. I would totally read her story if MQ decides to write it! Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright are accomplished performers, though they did sound a bit mature to buy as college students. Still, after the first few chapters, I was pulled into the story because these MQ characters are just that good. Overall, this one is definitely worth a listen.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I am so glad we finally got Holt's book.
This couple had great banter and even better communication skills! They still had a few growing pains along the way but I thought it was all handled with maturity.
I like how much quality time we saw between our hero and heroine. As much as I love the antics of the Brentwood baseball team, and their involvement in their teammates love lives, I really like that this book focused so much on our main couple, with very little outside involvement (beside Priya...she was the bomb and I hope we get her story). It made the short time line of their love story credible and I thoroughly believed in these two as a couple!

Ok so I will say that I bought this whole Brentwood series by accident when I one clicked them all when seeing how many books were in this series but I can say it's the best accident I've had hahaha
I've loved each and every single of these books and their characters.
I've been held hostage from start to finish from each of these stories and devoured them all within a few weeks unable to put them down!
Holt Green is everything you'd want in a partner.. hes kind.. caring.. loving.. compassionate with a little side of perfection thrown in... when he sets his sights on something he knows he wants he doesn't stop until he gets it so when he meets Harmony one night working in the local diner all bets are off!
Harmony is guarding her heart after recent bad experiences but loves the way that Holt manages to break down her defences piece by piece.
These guys together are explosive! The chemistry is unreal and the fireworks are going off all over the place but they lack the one thing all relationships need... communication, which leads to drama and heartache.
Absolutely gutted these stories are over... id read about all these guys all day long!
