    I love this series. I hate it had to end. I think it would cool she she wrote more books about them having a family. I would recommend this series and author to all my family and friends.

    ” The Sweet Bride-Gone with the Brides Book 3) “ by Ciara Knight is a tale of one Zoey Dixon... whose secret affair with an older man ...Edward ..a Professor.. while in college and her return back to her small southern hometown for Christmas shows Kevin just how much the girl he once knew has changed. Kevin ...the high school jock ...Zoey once tutored ...has never forgotten Zoey or his love for her. But even though she volunteers at the Rehab Center he works at...reconnecting isn’t as easy as Kevin wants. Will Christmas work it’s magic...or will family obligations continue to keep these two star crossed lovers apart?! Much enjoyed and Highly Recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book.

    This is the third book in this series and it was just as good as the first two books. Loved the sister dynamics. The author did a good job of showing us how we can get bogged down by family loyalty and lose sight of our own dreams and aspirations out of a sense of duty and guilt over the sacrifices made by that same family.

    Zoey is the youngest of the three sisters in the Dixon family and has always wanted a secure life since she and her two sisters were never able to experience that due to their father repeatedly walking out on them and their mother having virtually abandoned them when Sadie was a mere teenager. She feels that she will get the life she wants with Edward, one of her college professors, but does not realize that he is merely using her to advance his own academic career.
    When she comes home for Christmas vacation she runs into her high school crush and the former star football player she had tutored when they were both in high school. He reveals that he had had a crush on her in high school. Now she has a decision to make. Stay with Edward and his safe life in academia or take a chance on a new path in life with Kevin? She also feels a sense of guilt and loyalty to her oldest sister Sadie for everything Sadie had sacrificed so that Zoey could pursue her dream of going to college.

    I enjoyed this trilogy immensely and wish there were more sisters so that the series could continue. I will definitely be watching for more books by Ciara Knight.

    A short, quick, and great read by Ciara Knight!

    The Sweet Bride is the 3rd installment in the Gone with the Brides series and it focuses on Zoey. I have NOT read the other two installments and I was able to fully enjoy this one. That said, you should definitely pick up the other two novellas because, why not, right?

    I absolutely LOVE Ciara's writing. I am always able to fully submerge myself in her characters and stories...and quickly too!

    I really liked Kevin right off the bat. Edward? Not so much. He was arrogant and REALLY need to remove the stick he had up his butt. I loved Zoey's character, though there was a moment there where I wanted to slap her, LOL!! Thank heavens she had her amazing sisters that spoke their minds.

    If you enjoy sweet romances, this one if for you. It's a very short read so you could definitely devour it in one sitting. Five Stars!

    This is one of those romances that tugs at your heart and keeps it wrapped in a warm lovely cocoon. Kevin and Zoey are perfect together. The last sister to find true love. And a wonderful way to end a story. I loved it!

    This is the third book in this series, and while it can be read as a standalone, I think that there were some subtle pieces of the story that would have been better had I read the series in order. This is a sweet and clean romance, so really nothing graphic in case that's something you are looking for. Zoey is a college student, who lost her parents at an early age and was raised by her older sister. She comes home for the holidays, and believes that her college professor boyfriend will be coming to join her soon. At her sister's, she runs into Kevin, an old high school classmate, for whom she had a crush on years ago. Point blank... Zoey was a borderline doormat, and that infuriated me. Her boyfriend is scum, and it took her so long and an unfortunate incident to toss him to the curb. Thank goodness she had started to rekindle her friendship with Kevin, and was able to turn it into more.

    The writing was a little choppy, and there were moments where I had to re-read parts just to see if I had missed anything. However, I give this a 3.5 stars, and this was a sweet book about learning to find value in oneself in order to be better and to find a positive relationship.

    Zoey was happy with her professor and was ready for her happily ever after, but you never know when life will throw you a few curve balls and change things up. Zoey will get her happily ever after but will it be with her professor or will someone new come in and change her life. Ciara Knight is such a talented writer/author and you dont want to miss out on this book and series, so grab your copies now and start reading.

    This is the final book in a trilogy of romances that is very different and super fun to read. I loved Zoey and her internal battles. Her problem was the “boyfriend” she thought she loved! The man of her dreams, Kevin, however, was a pretty awesome hero. He showed her what life could and should be!
    Great book with deep characters.
