The Ten Percent Gang (McBain Series Book 2) Kindle Edition

3.9 out of 5 stars 22 ratings

Sheriff Wes Creed has suffered yet another disastrous day. Earlier, Clayton Bell’s bandit gang raided a cash shipment bound for Lincoln’s bank. And while Creed fruitlessly pursued the bandits, the vigilante organization, the Ten Percent gang, calmly tracked and reclaimed the stolen cash. And for their trouble, the vigilantes retained their usual fee – ten percent of the cash.

With the Ten Percent gang now threatening to enforce all justice in Lincoln, Creed realizes he has to slap them in jail, even if it means riding roughshod over every law in the land.

So Creed has no choice but to forge an alliance with the only man who hates the Ten Percent gang as much as he does – Clayton Bell.

Enjoyable read and interesting concept of a 10% gang and how it frustrates the conventional law enforcement folks, but in the end it all works out for the best. A different take on the good guys, bounty hunters, outlaws and lawmen.

Well done, some funny parts in here, but mostly adventurous and clearly twists. When a lawman needs to behave like the thief, very frightening. Then again, it takes a thief to catch a thief is how I heard it expressed. A great read and I'm happy to have it. Thank you for this free to me book, but it's well worth the purchase price.

Not a bad book a reasonable story could have done with an extra chapter in it just to finish it off
