The Unbound Soulis a fresh, highly acclaimed spiritual guide that tells of one man's struggle to free his soul while guiding the reader to their own inner freedom.

"I can't remember a more transformative book"

The Unbound Soul is a memoir that tells the true story of a young boy, who in the midst of a vision, dedicates his life to spiritual awakening. As he matures, this promise leads him across the globe, gathering ancient knowledge and mastering martial, healing, and meditation arts.

Along the way, subsequent visions reveal the rapidly approaching collapse that will shake our societies, our economic system, and the earth's ecology to the very core. Tormented by visions of coming worldwide calamity, Haight presses ever onward in his search and eventually realizes the elusive truth hinted at in his childhood vision.

But
The Unbound Soul is so much more than a memoir. It is a powerful guide that reveals the profoundly simple yet elusive truth that illuminates your life and provides a set of powerful awareness tools to assist you on your personal path. The Unbound Soul is really about you and your path toward practical realization in everyday life.

Through this work, among other things, you will:

  • Receive new tools of awakening that blend seamlessly into your daily life. ― "This book is worth getting just for this, but it's a whole lot more."

  • Learn how the senses, thought, emotion, and memory have imprisoned you, and discover the key to unlocking that prison. ― "...one of the most profound books I've read in the search for answers to Love, Life, and Living!"

  • Discover the nature of the mind, consciousness, the spirit and the soul, and how they interweave to limit or unleash the possibilities of your daily experience. ― "You will look at the world a little bit differently after reading it."

  • Turn your daily life into a vibrant journey of awakening. ― "No gimmicks. No special pictures or runes. JUST YOU."

"Any reader who likes to contemplate and seek the ultimate truth will not turn away from this book once he or she picks it up!"

"This book, in my humble opinion, is the best literary tool for all human souls seeking their inner path to 'Spiritual Unfoldment.'"

"If you feel any drawing to read this book, know that it has the potential to transform your life."

Review

"One of the best Consciousness books of all time" ―BookAuthority

"The Unbound Soul is a well-structured book where the main message comes through clearly, using easy words accessible to everyone. It is really a pleasure to read. The narrative is engaging, humorous, and inspirational. I recommend it to anyone who needs spiritual guidance, to people who love reading self-help and spiritual books, and to those who aspire to reach their own inner freedom." ―OnlineBookClub.org Official Review

"For anyone who is seeking to understand themselves and their lives more fully and who wishes to develop as much as they can inthis lifetime, this book is a 'page-turner'. There is an enormous amount of wisdom and understanding here that would inspire anyone to embark on their quest. Keeping the book around, once read, and dipping into it regularly would keep you on the path when, as inevitably happens, you sometimes become disheartened. Richard Haight is fully aware of this possibility as, in this lifetime, he has traveled a road of constant seeking, which is perhaps what makes this book so compelling." ―Dr. H.A. Jones, TOP 500 REVIEWER, spiritofoneness.co.uk

"Beyond Meditation! If you are interested in growing your peace and harmony, buy this book, read it, practice every day and share the path to unconditional love, the bare bones of all religions." ―Fred Tomasello Jr., Author of Walking Wounded: Memoir of a Combat
Veteran

"Good Philosophy and Spirituality! The author's aim is to graduate to higher order levels of consciousness and universal understanding. In this undertaking, the book succeeds in taking readers to such a place." ―Dr.Joseph S. Maresca, HALL OF FAME TOP 1000 REVIEWER

"A 'cut above' book for which many of us have unknowingly been seeking. No "review" can do this book justice. It is powerful, full of extraordinary wisdom and insight, and vividly describes the heightened experiences and wisdom of the author in a simple, yet unparalleled way. To do the book justice, one must actually read it and study it to appreciate it. And unless one is already fully liberated, this book will be of significant help in bringing awareness to the reader of Beingness or Isness, as the author expresses it. I am glad I was guided to it; I sincerely enjoyed it; and I appreciate the content of the book and the life process that produced it. As the author himself says: "No matter how much I realize, there is always more to be understood, more to perfect, to refine and purify."―Reverend Lori Revo, UCome.org

"Add this to your reading list!As a student of spiritual teachings, I highly recommend reading Richard L. Haight's book, The Unbound Soul. Using his personal story as the foundation, Richard takes the reader through a journey that starts with a childhood vision and ends with a spiritual awakening that catapults him from student to teacher, leaving us with powerful lessons and insights for our own spiritual journeys. What's more, Richard doesn't talk at us but with us, as he shares his own trials and tribulations along the way. This is a must-read for anyone searching to explore spirituality, purpose, and unbound freedom." ―Greg Giesen, Award-winning Author of Monday at 3 and Creating Authenticity

"Find the Bones of Christ! There are many people searching for answers, more than ever before. We are hungry and we are thirsting for spirituality. Include the book The Unbound Soul in your collection. I'm glad I did." ―Nancy Price, Author of Had a Dream, BlackBallers, Silver Sisters, and Puppy Pail

I meant to tell Mankind to aspire to a new state........
Friends: * I emailed the author - Richard L. Haight a couple of times while reading this Kindle book and he was kind enough to write back. * I have read about 12,000 books in my life and with a very Good memory, I compare each new book to the others I have read. * A thought of a particular quote from the 1800s came to mind as I read Richard's book...... Here it is: " I meant to tell mankind to aspire to a new state about which I could tell them little or nothing, to teach them to tread a long and lonely path which might or might not lead thither, to bid them dare to encounter all possible perils of nature unknown, to abandon all their settled manners of living and to cut themselves off from their past and their environment, and to attempt a quixotic adventure with no resources beyond their native strength and sagacity, I had done it myself and found not only that the pearl of great price was worth far more than I possessed, but that the very perils and privations of the quest were themselves my dearest memories. I was certain of this at least: that nothing in the world except this was worth doing….. " Google my name to Learn more.......... Arthur von Boennighausen

Haight tells about his spiritual journey to God. On this journey he discovers a God beyond the God of the Bible, who reminds him of “a violent, racist, jealous, wrathful, insecure, judgmental man.” Haight has a vision where his spirit rose up through spiritual dimensions, beyond the galaxy and universe. He encountered a great void and beyond that a presence, an intelligence, and a power, that was perfect, loving and whole.
Haight lays out a plan for his readers to experience this intelligent presence and find their wholeness. How to resolve disharmony, tune into consciousness, receive inspiration, remove the veil, and experience unconditional love are covered in his book.
In the Amazon jungle, Haight had a vision of the purpose of life on earth. He learned of the destruction and renewal to come in the near future. He saw there would be a spiritual awakening, and that it will lead to a shift in consciousness throughout humanity. But first the corruption in the world must be fully exposed.
Conscious light from the center of the galaxy will bath the earth in increasing intensity. This light will cause corruption, greed and selfishness to collapse upon itself. The three pillars of humanity- economy, ecology and society will fail. Everything based on lies will be exposed.
Haight saw two possible futures. If we stay selfish, negative, and resist positive change, our suffering will be immense and life on earth will reach near-extinction levels. This horror was beyond words. If we choose a positive, loving path that honors all life, and embraces the truths that are revealed, the world will be better off. Even so, the population of humanity will shrink. Those remaining will make a transition to an inspiring way of life. Life will be richer and people will commune with all things.
One person will graduate and light the way for many. We would then see a great enlightenment on earth.
Haight received a knowing that when he had gone far enough down the path of enlightenment, he would be protected from malicious intent with an energy field.

Haight learns a type of bodywork meditation called sotai-ho where he could detect areas of heaviness in his body and use energetic touch to free up the heavy energy. He combined sotai-ho with his martial arts and discovered his body would move on its own, as it opened up energetic pathways. This combination developed a protective field around Haight’s body when meditating.

“There is conscious light from the center of the galaxy, bathing the earth with ever-increasing intensity… we will meet that light with the conscious light of our being, bathing the entire multiverse in unconditioned love and thereby resolving all sense of separation… we will transition into a sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, just human presence on this planet.”

I bought this book as research because I have a character who achieves enlightenment in my book series. Not only did this book help with the original objective, but it provided practical tips on practical meditation techniques that I found useful. It's documented medical fact that medication can have health benefits, so I'm glad I purchased this book.

The first time I read this book, I was unable to finish it. I would not recommend reading this casually over a long period of time. Understanding the undertaking requires new words, and not all of the terminology meanings were in the glossary in the end. I recommend reading the book in a short period of time. It's not particularly long, so that's easily achievable.

The book begins with his personal journey to enlightenment, the realizations he had, and how he combined training from multiple disciplines to create his approach. I've had a few visions that went beyond words at about the same age, so some of his experiences rang very true to me. I'd forgotten about my own mystical experiences. In Chapter 19, he talks about the Truth or Lie game. That does seem to be a good icebreaker way of getting people to share their stories like that.

Later parts cover tuning into consciousness, information on meditation, including practical tips. I like that he went over how to approach chants and mantras in a way that allowed them to be adapted based on religious practice or lack thereof. Achieving harmony seems to be the main point of the book. I found the Q&A very helpful. I read the 3rd edition, so some earlier versions may not include that.

While it's tempting to mark off because the URLs in the book no longer, as an author who neglects his own website, I can understand that. Compared to the extensive insights contained in the book, such consideration is but a pittance.

Despite the problems I had in my first readthroughs, I still rate The Unbound Soul 5 out of 5 for a supremely thought-provoking read. I plan to read it again as a reference book and to incorporate some of the techniques as habits.

Very bold, enlightening and powerful book to guide your spiritual journey. I read it slowly to digest some of the authors experiences leading to powerful guidance for those just starting out. Some insights are priceless. I've no words to express gratitude for some of the deep wisdom shared in this book. Thanks Richard L Haight.

The book is the quintessential road map to illumination for meditation practitioners at any level - beginner to advanced, step by step. What is it, what to expect, goals and pitfalls. Not a book to read in one go but to consult at every stage of your spiritual growth.

I am well into this book in one sitting! It’s an easy read and the author is very down to Earth in his descriptions of his experiences. He does not have the depth of an author such as Wayne Dyer or the aesthetic writing of other spiritual authors but it’s a fascinating read and a message we need in these times.
