Brillant and Intriguing read

Cracking read. Discovered a great new author. More please!!!!
As a fan of the potboiler style of thriller, I saw this and thought it might while away a few hours mindlessly by the pool whilst away on holiday. What I wasn't prepared for was how extremely well written, how deeply researched, how gripping and how pacy this book is with a huge and utterly believable premise at it's core. In fact the book's premise is absolutely possible if you read the notes at the end.
I read this in it's entirety in about three sittings and I completely urge you to also give it a read. As a first book from a new author, this is a fantastic piece of work. I for one can hardly wait for the next John Deacon story. Superb.

A real page turner!
What a rush! Mike Boshier writes in the mould of Tom Clancy - easy to read, un-put-down-able and based on enough truths that you think it could happen (which is both fascinating and terrifying!!)

A great read with a plot that blurs the lines between fact and fiction and leave sthe reading wondring Could this really happen?
This book is an easy and enjoyable read and the author provides the right balance in terms of background and factual information to ensure a plot that keeps the reader engrossed to the end.
Would highly recommend this book and hope this will be the first in a series of books from Mike Boshier

Extremely absorbing, fast-paced thriller.
Read in 2 sittings and I think after about 60% through the book I stopped noticing the outside world I was so absorbed in the plot.
Written with the maturity of a veteran thriller writer, I can't believe it's his first novel!
