    I love this sort of instant love that Cannon and Susanna have. They are almost complete opposites and yet seem so right together. Cannon is just this loveable teddy bear of a man. Susanna is held to a higher standards within her uptight family. I love how Cannon just brings out the softer side of Susanna. You can feel their love grow even through the distance that they face. Cannon and Susanna are just meant for each other. You will see once you read Thinking About You. I loved this one.

    Thinking About You by Monica Murphy is sweet with lots of sexy, but at the end of the day, I just needed more. More emotional connection between the characters. More emotional intimacy. Just more.

    Both the hero and the heroine are likable characters. Neither Cannon nor Sus have any bad qualities, but I also felt like I didn’t know them well enough, which left them both feeling a bit two dimensional to me.

    Their chemistry, physically is insane, and I did enjoy their physical connection. It was a bit awkward at times like Sus, but I loved that it seemed to fit their dynamic as a couple.

    The story is pretty expected. No surprises or real plot twists. From the synopsis, readers are going to know what to expect and there isn’t a real deviation.

    Did I enjoy it? Yes. There wasn’t anything wrong with the book, the writing, or the characters. I ultimately just needed more depth, more twists, turns. More something

    We didn’t really see much depth for the characters just a lot of steam. Which bugged me a bit. Also would of loved to see how Cannon’s scratcher was a winner .

    Oh Monica you have created another book boyfriend for me. I LOVE Cannon he is so sweet and shy but lord when it is time to get down to business that shyness goes out the window and his freaky side comes out.

    Cannon is a professional Football player. His team is going overseas to London to play in an exhibition game. There is a honorary party for the team and Cannon goes to it but feels so out of place he wants to leave. That is until he sees this beautiful girl he has to know. He introduces himself to her and the night is about to change. Cannon and Lady Susanna feel the instant chemistry they take it a step further and decide to be intimate.

    For one night Cannon can do because he lives in the states and she lives in London. No harm in that right? But one night turns into four and Cannon and Lady Susanna can't keep their hands off of each other. They both know they have a short time together so they spend each day having fun and getting to know one another.

    Can Cannon and Lady Susanna be together through the distance? Or will one of them break down and move to the states or to London? This is a great romance book with lot's of steam that will have you needing wipers to wipe off your kindle! Hot Hot Hot!!!!!!!!!!

    This book had me hooked right from the beginning. First Cannon is feeling out of sorts as the big, American footballer who is in London for a game and while at a party given in the team's honor he overhears them referred to as "quite beastly" and is not amused. He really just wants to leave and when he is telling his teammate he is overheard by Susanna who interrupts, "I happen to quite like beastly men." To say there is instant and spontaneous chemistry would do a disservice to these two but what they have is off the charts and special. It starts out as a whirlwind affair in London and after a few days they are separated by an ocean and country and with Cannon constantly practicing and traveling with his demanding career it is hard to stay in contact but with texting and FaceTime can they make it work? This was a smart, sexy, and oh, so fun read. I missed the first book in this series and think I am going to go back and pick it up even though this one is definitely a standalone.

And I don't intend for that to sound negative but it's just a really cute story, one that doesn't have too much drama, angst or mystery. The characters are cute, quirky and the chemistry is off the charts. Everything just seems to fall into place for Cannon and Sus; just an easy breezy story that I found enjoyable.

    I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was looking forward to reading Cannon and Susanna's story. Unfortunately, this book was disappointing. The characters were incompletely developed, the plot was thin and the story really dragged. It took me forever to finish reading and I normally finish books in one sitting. This was almost a DNF, but I stubbornly finished because I kept hoping the story would rise to the level of the prior book. Unfortunately, I actually paid for this book when I usually just read on Kindle Unlimited. Not worth it.
