    I bought this box set for an amazing low price, so I wasn't sure that it would be a great read. Yes, I have enjoyed all five books, loved Thomas and Karl and Miranda. The others are all a bit dodgy in their own separate ways, but that is how these stories go, nothing is straightforward. These three are the goodies, let's say, and the rest are what they are, but there are no clear alliances, no-one Thomas trusts implicitly, and many only trust him because they find him "a bit simple" (which he is not).
    Is another Thomas Bladen story on the way? Let us hope so.
