Then the trouble nipping at Annora's heels finds her and Parker realizes the path to claiming his mate won't be as easy as he thought - especially not with the bears involved.

    I think I liked this story the best of the ones I've read in this series so far, as it had several unexpected twists and turns. This was Parker's (the youngest brother) and Anora's (a bear shifter) story. I liked this story so much I didn't even care that both main characters were shifters, which I usually don't like. The sex was hot though it wasn't the main focus, their relationship was, plus coming to terms with the various twists & turns. I wish we could have seen more of Anora's bear but alas, the only time it made an appearance was when she shifted for the first time. There were a fair amount of grammatical errors.

    This series is pretty good and this book was the most enjoyable of the 3, to me. I will most likely reread these in the future because the stories aren't bad and the characters are likable enough.

    The 3 star rating is mostly due to my lack of being able to get lost in the books. There is a disconnect where I don't get that feeling of being emotionally involved, which may be due to a lack of depth to the world these characters live in.
