Time After Time: Collected Points In Time Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 2 ratings

From comedy to lost-in-time drama, even a touch of the supernatural, the shorter stories are ideal coffee-break reads, or for commuters. Be careful, though, where you read the last one. You might miss your stop. It's a full-length novellete, fourteen thousand words or so, fast and twisty.

The collection contains a dozen flash-fiction or slightly longer stories: some cheerful, some sly, some alien and some very close to home, either competition winners or finalists, and three also appear in anthologies, reproduced here with the permission of the publishers. This edition also includes a new story, The Olive Branch, and an excerpt from the thriller Do-Over

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

The stories are all types as they were driven by competition requirements, only the title story is a total ad-lib. That one's driven by the slightly scornful young protagonist and at the time was the fastest-moving story I'd ever written - to this day I am not entirely sure what sparked it. Not my usual style at all. I'd love to know what you think of it.

About the Author

Joanna Lamprey also writes whodunits under the name EJ Lamprey, but the books are very different in type. It seemed easiest to keep them separate.

Like every SF reader I have the sneaking feeling I was born too early and so many exciting things lie just over the horizon!

We do live in exciting times, enough to pique our imaginations, stretch them just that little further forward, dream ... my style is usally very much in the cozy category, even when far afield in space and time.

This is a smashing wee collection of micro stories, with an excellent short story at the end. If you're a fan of SciFi, but don't have much time to read, this is the book for you.
