Timeless Secrets is a must read. I urge you to put this book on the very top of your reading list!
Raine, Summer, and Meadow are sisters and the stars of Timeless Secrets by Casi McLean. The first chapter begins in 1865 but we are quickly transported to North Georgia and the present time. The three sisters each have very different interests but are very close and rarely apart so when they are out and about, looking for treasures, and come across some strange things, they each play an important role.
The adventure begins when they find a hand sticking out of the ground and see a very old and unusual-looking watch. They are soon caught up in the mystery. They realize that this is more than a watch and that when it is set properly, they can time travel. The sisters plan to find out who the mystery hand belongs to and why it took so many years for it to be found. To tell you more would spoil the fun, mystery, adventure, and excitement.
Timeless Secrets is a very different time travel story than most and an excellent read. I loved reading Timeless Secrets. It is one of the most enjoyable time travel books I have read in a long time. While it is hard for me to believe that time travel is possible, the three sisters quickly pulled me along into their travels to 1960.
Casi McLean has created characters that I hope to meet in many more books. If you are young, old, or in between and a fan of the time travel genre, Timeless Secrets is a must. I urge you to put this book on the very top of your reading list as you will definitely not be disappointed.

    In Timeless Secrets: Three Sisters Island Mysteries––Book 1: A Time Travel Suspense Mystery, we meet Raine, Summer, and Meadow Holloway, three sisters with unique skills and diverse interests – Raine is an antique enthusiast, Summer is into sweets, and Meadow loves gemstones, so you can imagine how they put their passions to use regarding their social contributions in the town where they live.

    It's during a treasure hunt for antiques for Raine’s shop when the threesome discovers two relics that can eventually alter the course of history or their lives, as they know it – but changing history can inspire consequences, for better or worse. The question is which direction will the women take?

    Time-traveling together after accidentally finding a futuristic chronometer in an old barn from the Civil War era in north Georgia, the young women find themselves back in 1960 where they meet the self-proclaimed inventor of the device – the woman’s name is Sandy. Despite their astonishment at finding themselves transported through such a portal, Sandy insists she not only believes they’ve time-traveled but is eager to help them in other regards for personal reasons of her own. “You’re not the only people who’ve come through time at Three Sisters Island,” she insists. Later she says, “I programmed my coordinates into your chronometer. If you ever need me, you’ll always know how to find me.” Say what??

    I knew from page one of Casi McLean’s new release I was in for a wild ride, one as fun and turbulent as the journey the Holloway sisters were embarking on.     A great, fun beginning to the Three Sisters Island Mysteries, this is book 1, Timeless Secrets. This novel and audio combo is my first time to experience the work of Casi McLean and I thoroughly enjoyed the time slip. By the look of the number of books in her writing career, I may be reading and listening for quite some time. Isn't it always the way... the ladies have to convince a man or men that they are right when we know we are right. You go sisters! On to book 2 now.

In addition, the overabundance of ellipses and em dashes are distracting to the eye, for not everything can have a deeper, unspoken meaning or need for hesitation. It's readable but unlikely to hold the interest of anyone over fifteen years old.

    I’ve read several of Casi McLean’s books and loved every one of them. She never fails to plop you right in the middle of the action. Her characters jump off the pages and drag you into the story, the scene descriptions make you see, feel, and smell the location through their eyes. I love that about her books.

    Now the only questions are will Raine and her two sisters unravel the secret of an antique watch’s power, solve the murder, and find their way back home before time runs out? You’ll have to pick up a copy and find out! You’ll be so glad you did. Now me, I’m off to read the second book in the series which takes place in Salem. Can’t wait.

    This is a captivating story that begins in the past when a time traveler from the future loses his special watch that allows him to spiral through time. Since it’s a cold case, the police don’t dig into searching for the victim’s identity or her killer. The sisters step up and begin looking for answers. To find them, they travel back in time to the original crime scene. Will they succeed in tracking down the victim and her murderer?

    This is an intriguing first book in Three Sisters Island Mysteries series. The author, Casi McLean, has skillfully woven heroes, villains, holograms, and period details into this exciting time travel novel. The plot is well orchestrated and the story is perfectly paced. The characters are richly developed with clever dialogue. I’m looking forward to reading more adventures of the Holloway sisters in future books in this series. I highly recommend “Timeless Secrets” to fans of time travel, mystery, fantasy, and everyone who enjoys an engaging read
