    The QODT (queen of dirty talk) keeps on delivering! I've probably read about 8 books from Bella J. in the past month. And each time I finish one, I go in search of another to devour.
    Her "Dark" series are deliciously onyx; ranging from deep-grey to moonless-midnight black.
    But if dark & depraved isn't your style... Well, there's this book. If Bella's books were a pool, this book is that seam between the shallow and deep-end.

    This is an erotic (not erotica), tantalizing, slow-burn, story; that finitely defines the word: ANTICIPATION.
    And even though it does slowly burn its way to a few toe-curling gratifying "fireworks" moments... the story build-up is definitely NOT slow. But I also think it's important to point out that the story synopsis is slightly misleading.

    Sienna is actually quite fiery. IMO- She's the perfect blend of: strength & vulnerability, sass & sincerely, and youthful-innocence meets jaded-experience.
    And yet... I can definitely see how Sienna's "attitude" can rub some readers the wrong way. But she's only 20 years old, and hurting. She's become disenchanted with her spoiled, rich life; because she's starting to see that money doesn't buy happiness. Furthermore, she doesn't have the life experience (yet) to know how to cope with continuous disappointment...nor betrayal.

    Meanwhile, Noah is not your typical "Alpha jerk". Sure, he's brooding, growly, a little possesive with serious control issues. But he's nowhere near as dark as some of Bella J's other Alpha-jerks. Actually, Noah is.... well, he's this damaged, ridiculously tempting, deliciousness.
    We aren't enlightened to the full magnitude of his troubled past (in so many words). But it's eluded to. And if you've been around the "dark romance" scene a bit... it's seems obvious what happened to him. Tho, I haven't read the 2nd book yet....so, remains to be seen if I'm guessing correctly.

    Quite pleasantly, this story doesn't follow the "miscommunication that broke us" trope... which I immensely appreciate.
    That be said--
    That ending?
    Well, ok, fair warning... it was heartbreaking.
    Predictable; but satisfying...in a macabre kinda way (don't judge my darkness; LOL).

    Sienna may only be 20 in years, but she's been through a lot, and it shows. Yes, she's immature at times, but she's also strong and a survivor. She recently broke up with her douche of a boyfriend, one who will not leave her alone even though she has cut all the ties she can, considering her ex is her brother's friend, her dad is moving right along from her mother's passing, and marrying a gold digger, and everything in her life is out of control. Then she meets, and kisses, an absolutely smoldering hot older guy, and suddenly her life is even more out of control, but in a good way, in a delicious way.

    Noah's got a dark, mysterious past, and it's left its mark on him. He doesn't let anyone in, and he knows he shouldn't be anywhere near Sienna and all the temptation she presents, but he simply cannot resist her any longer. But when something happens to her, and he realizes just how strongly his feelings have grown for her, he faces a choice to stay and be with her, or to leave and take all the danger he carries with him far away from her.

    I know this story is labeled as slow burn, but I definitely did not get that vibe here. No, not even. The heat level between Noah and Sienna is positively incendiary, and they're not afraid to give in when he can't resist her any longer, which is pretty quickly I felt. I loved the whole mystery arc, and I even can withstand the cliffhanger because I'm so excited to know more. In the second installment, I hope we get more of Noah's backstory and I really hope he and Sienna can tough this out and find happiness with each other, because they are a great couple.

    Noah is a man who lays low because of his past, which has yet to be revealed. Sienna tries to put on a front, but is still mourning her mother’s death. Her father is now marrying a person much, much younger than him. She also has problems with her ex. They meet when he comes to her house because he will be starting renovations on their cottage because that’s what her stepmom wants. Her ex was invited to the wedding reception, and when she finds a man standing at the front door, she kisses him thoroughly, and her ex sees her. That’s the beginning of it all. The attraction, the dominance in Noah and the submission of Sienna. They are opposites in so many ways, but they are alike in others. They really are meant for each other, although he’s 15 older than she is. Things happen in this story that I won’t give spoilers on, but just know that this story is so well worth the read. Amazing writing from Bella J.

    To Touch You is a beautiful age-gap story that will draw you in from the very beginning. Sienna is probably one of my favorite characters this year, and that is saying a lot since I have read a good many stories. But she is sweet, kind, and grieving for her mother still. Sienna is still getting used to her father remarrying and doesn't take kindly to her new stepmother remodeling the guest house.

    Noah is the person who will be remodeling and staying in the guest house. Noah has a past that we will not know all of, but he is dominant. Sienna requires a firm hand, but how strong will Noah become with a sweet, somewhat innocent girl?

    To Touch You was an unexpected treat. But if you have ever read Bella J, you should always go in with an open mind and never be surprised. She is one of my go-to authors!

    Noah and Sienna’s story was one addictive, engrossing and keeping on the edge of the seat read. Age gap and forbidden aspect of relationship, slow burn filled with such suspense, angst and heartbreaking. Indecision, on & off, hot & cold shoulder from Noah, who kept stopping himself from actually feeling any deeper emotions and being on the receiving end. Him rejecting Sienna despite indisputably not only need to control and dominate her, but as well feeled lust, chemistry and sexual tension between them. They are raw and rough together, kinky and depraved, that consumes and corrupts them completely, to the point of discovering new dimensions of their needs, feeling the deepest and darkest desires - sexy, steamy and so forbidden. Created characters are so detailed with better understanding of emotions, feelings that gets deeper than just sex connecting them. Trying to understand motives, reasoning for certain actions. And the anticipation and constant fear for another shoe to drop. Cliffhanger…. I was left shattered with an urgent need to read the second book and get another fill of that consuming couple.
