    I’m not really into romance or erotica novels but I decided to give this one a shot.
    The sexual scenes are super steamy and written well. The rest of the story is decently entertaining but falls flat in a few areas. But that didn’t make me want to put the book down. However, more attention to the story other than the sex scenes (which most of the detail goes), might be beneficial. Because there is a lot of parts in the story that were great.
    I will say, Cade was my favorite character. There’s a moment when he is really aware and gentle towards Haley-due to her past experiences with men-and he helps her feel very safe with him. It made me cry. That was my favorite part of the entire book. Hand clap to the author for that tentative moment-it was beautiful and heart warming.
    After the on and off with Cade and Haley, we are left with a very unsatisfactory ending, in my personal opinion. I think there could have been much more depth with the characters journey, to help the ending be more solid. Cade, for me at least, is why I was reading the story. His character is interesting as he was often surprising the reader with the twists and turns of his personality.
    I think a book from his perspective would be really neat, and not just his sexanigans.
    Overall, it’s a good and quick read.
    If this is the authors first novel, it’s a great first.

    A note to whom it concerns: I noticed a handful of typos and sentences that were not edited correctly.

    The story is told completely through Haley's POV. I preferred that. She starts off dating Adam who seems nice, but we soon find out that's not the case. For some inexplicable reason she forgives him and takes him back. That's where the story started to turn for me. His behavior was inexcusable but she didn't care and then things happen between them the exact way I thought they would.

    Now I know women are going to swoon over Cade, but as a guy I have to say that he was pretty awful too. First he befriends her and I'm thinking okay. Then she tries to take it further and he literally screams and cusses at her to push her away. That's just awful and unnecessary. Then when her brother finds out he just walks away from her without even putting up a fight even though she is screaming and crying for him. He simply leaves her without even looking back. He starts dating someone else immediately. This is where I lost all respect for him. Multiple times when he doesn't get what he wants from Haley he hooks up with someone else. Trash. Something happens and he tries to get her back. She refuses and I'm relieved because she is right in her thinking because if he felt about her the way he says he does he never would have treated her the way he did. She leads him on a little bit before ultimately ending it. Some time passes and ofcourse they have a HEA, but it was rushed and very anticlimactic.

    Ultimately I enjoyed the story but there were a lot of decisions made by the author that didn't sit well with me. Her brother thinking he's the hate keeper of her vagina? Nope. Trying to believe she's head over heels for Cade when she practically drools over every guy she's introduced to? Nope. One guy she gets so lost in staring at that she literally has to be shaken out of it. I understand that people in love will still find other people attractive but she goes on too much about it and it adds nothing to the story and only lessens the connection I feel between Cade and Haley. The fact that they spend as much time dating other people as they do each other is also not helping me buy that they are in love. Her staying celibate while their apart but him continuing to plow through girls? Nope. I may check out more by this author but I was disappointed that this turned out to be about 2 immature people who were seemingly obsessed with sex and no real connection.

    I am a long time avid reader, but this is the first time I have written a review. The premise of brother’s-best-friend-meets-off-limits-little-sister isn’t unique. (Which I’m fine with. I mean how many billionaire-meets-amazingly-regular-girl have we all read?) But something about this story and these characters sucked me right in to their world. It was a well written story. I swooned, my heart was broken, and then put back together. Reading this book was time well spent. I actually wasn’t ready for it to end!
    The only negative I found was minor. There were a couple situations that could have been fleshed out more, but ended up being a little irrelevant (Adam and his frat bros following her out of class when Cade is waiting for her, for example). And it ended rather abruptly. I wasn’t prepared for that to be the last scene. I need an epilogue!
    I like this author and we loved be reading more by her!

    I really enjoyed this. I loved the push and pull between the two of them. Cade made my heart flutter, I mean who doesn't love tattoos? Well, this girl does.
