Until Tomorrow Comes: The Beauty in Lies Series, Book 1
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
Rafael
I came for war. I left with an obsession.
With one look, Isa captivated me. She consumed me, drawing me into her world without ever knowing the dangers of mine. I intend to make her mine, no matter what lies I need to tell to manipulate her into falling in love with El Diablo. It should be simple enough, but secrets lurk in the depths of her multicolored eyes, and I’ll do anything to understand what broke her before I had the chance. Because she’s mine to break.
Isa
Rafael Ibarra tore through my life like a raging inferno.
Consuming every part of me he touches, he promises to show me passion and the real Ibiza. Though our tryst can never be anything but temporary, I never want to leave the man who makes me wish things were different. But there’s a nightmare hiding within his multicolored gaze, a phantom rattling at the cages who wants to devour me, to take me and claim me as his. He’s temptation, pushing me toward sin with his wicked touch. But the sins of the flesh are different from the sins of the mind, and as much as I hate his secrets…I will never tell him my own.
Until Tomorrow Comes is the first book in the Beauty in Lies series and ends on a cliffhanger. This is a dark mafia romance and contains graphic violence, mature content, and elements that may be triggering. Please listen at your own discretion.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2021What in the obsession did I just read and how is this my first Adelaide Forrest book?!? She’s such a talented writer and surprised me, especially with how the chess pieces come in. I need all the books now!
Rafe and Isa made eye-contact when she was still in high school- a junior. Rafe is not into being with minors so he decides he’s going to wait- until she’s 18 and graduates from high school. He has one of his men, Hugo, disguise himself as a high school student and befriend Isa. He needs him to basically be her best friend and find out everything that he can about her. One day, Isa goes to a party to rescue her twin sister only to find out that her twin sister drugged her so that she could lose her V to a guy that’s there. She and her twin sister do not have a solid relationship, it’s a very strained one. Lucky for Isa, Hugo was there and he was able to rescue her. This is when Rafael and Isa first make contact, but because she was drugged, she doesn’t really remember it.
Fast forward to 16 months later: Isa, Hugo, and her other close friend Chloe graduate and are going to embark on a trip to Ibiza. Ibiza is where Hugo is from and also where Rafael does a lot of his businesses. They land and Rafe is very much aware that this is when he can properly seduce Isa, not only to be with him, but also to realize that this is their forever, that she will never leave him, even if he is a cruel, sadistic murderer and deals in a lot of crooked transactions.
The chemistry 🔥🥵the smexy times 🔥🥵 the connection was incredibly passionate and atomic. He’s patient yet aggressive and persuasive. He doesn’t let her doubt herself and only sees her (as in, no other woman)because he is obsessed. No one else will do and he will also be her everything. I needed to fan myself a couple of times.
The book ends of a cliffy. I NEED book 2! I’m glad I waited to read this because book 2 comes out next week. I can’t wait! 🥰.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2021Book One, Until Tomorrow Comes, comes with the prologue novella, Until Memory Fades. So, if you've not read it before this book, it is actually included in the first part of book one to help you understand the relationship starting between Rafael, El Diablo with a fixation on the innocent Isa. During the prologue we also get the first bits of how far her twin sister, Odina, would go to make her suffer and in pain.
Through coincidental manipulation in which Isa knew nothing about, she finds herself and Ibiza Spain, home to Rafael. He goes all out giving her everything you can possibly think of to have her fall in love with him. Keeping the secrets of his darkness the way as much as possible.
Rafael does have a dark side, he exudes a sweet, romantic side every moment to is with her. The suspense with this first book in the series, comes from the Bravta. With Rafael aligning himself, and his beliefs, with Mateo in Chicago, he has now become a target for those who is to continue trafficking.
As reality dawns on her even through the haze of love, she sees the monster with then and runs wow the game of chess is at hand. Checkmate.....
Admittedly, I had to look up the word somnophilia.

My Review: This is a very over-the-top, crazy, obsessed alpha romance and I loved it. Rafe sees his Princesa one day while in Chicago and becomes immediately obsessed with her. As she’s still under age and in high school, he sets a plan in motion that allows him to watch over her for the next 16 months until he can claim her in Ibiza. Isa falls into Rafe’s trap so easily. He charms her, seduces her and tempts her with his sexual prowess and Isa has no choice but to tumble down his dark rabbit hole. This first book is all about their whirlwind romance in Ibiza and it’s full of spice and sensuality. I’m really enjoying this story so far.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2021So this book was hard for me to be interested in but I felt LIke i should finish it because it was recommended so much….
I think i didn’t like it as much because I’m a logical person. This naive 18 year old had her life start falling into place and never questioned why good things kept coming to her. How she won a scholarship, how her grandma got the surgery she needed, how her tormentors suddenly stopped once Hugo entered her life.
And then when when she gets to Ibiza, this older man suddenly takes her on the first night….
There is so much to Isa that we don’t know and that’s what kept me pushing threw this book…. But her stupidness was bothersome. She knew of the dangers, the monster lurking beneath, and yet she ignored them…. She ignored her grandmother’s foreboding and her history of cynicism. Didn’t feel right to me.
And don’t even get me started on Chloe.
Isa was a bad heroine. Rafe wasn’t bad, but his … fancination with Isa (stalking, monitoring, surveillance) felt so wrong.

5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing take on mafia romance
This is the first I've read of this author and after this, I am eager to read her other series. Until Tomorrow Comes is a refreshing take on this genre as it takes place in Ibiza. The characters develop throughout the book and the plot keeps you guessing. I enjoyed that their was time spent on Isa and Rachael's relationship to develop. I was left eager for book 2.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good underrated book
These books are phenomenal. The story, the plot, the suspence, everything makes sense and it covers everything you desire. For me personally there's a bit too much violence, and not really a fan of the lack of free will of a woman but still it is amazing. 100% recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dark&Addictive
How much does it take to know that you met The One? For Rafael, one look in the street at Isabel was enough to know that he must make her his own. Life on two different continents? Age difference? Whether Isabel agrees or not to be with Rafa is not something that could stop him from making her his. He’s obsessed with her, all he knows is that they will be together regardless of His Princess’s opinion. He stalks her from afar, preparing for the day to come cos what Rafa wants - Rafa gets. And from the moment Isabel finally arrives in Ibiza, he implements a plan to seduce her before she stays with him permanently.
From the moment Rafael first appeared in Shielded Wrongs (Bellandi Crime Syndicate), I knew he would be that dominant, possessive alpha male with darkness in his life & soul that only Isa would be able to put some light into and try to get his softer side out.
Until Tomorrow Comes, the first installment of the series Beauty in Lies, is dark mafia romance that ticks all checks for great read. It is intensely on a whole new level, holding on to what comes next. Adelaide Forrest knows how to keep the reader in suspense, and the ending is the best proof of that. you actually feel like shouting out to get a second book right away, to indulge the curiosity of how the events between Rafael and Isa will unfold.

1.0 out of 5 stars Regrets
When I purchased this book, I was in love with its synopsis. However when I started to read the first page, I soon realised that it’s poorly written (my opinion).
While the each sentence has its respective meanings, together it had made no sense. I struggled to understand what was happening. I eventually gave up on the book halfway.
I regret buying the book. But this is just my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY IT!!! BEST YET!!!
Honestly, I didn’t think anything could top my love for Mateo but Rafael has managed it! He’s the most manipulative character we’ve seen yet. He set his sights on his Isa and immediately knew she was his. Protection was put in place for his princess until he could claim her and he never stayed or took his eye off his girl once! Then he did everything in his power to make her his. And when his princess pushed back? The mask slipped and the monster came out! And I can’t wait to see how Isa handles a monster to rival even the Bellandi men we all love. And the secret Isa is hiding? Bet it’s going to be big. You just know this sweet girl has her own darkness to match her phantom.
