    This story is simply the most beautiful, uplifting, heart-breaking, love-affirming, soul-shattering roller coaster I've ever read. I can only say I am so beyond grateful that Mia Kayla took me on such a breath-taking ride. I'm not going to tell you this book is flawless because the beauty of this book is its flaws...its flawed characters, its flawed love, its flawed circumstances. I loved every single page in this story...even the ones I hated.

    What blew me away, more than any other aspect of this book, is how much I LOVED each and every character. I think that's what made this story unforgettable. Sam is clearly torn between these two amazing and amazingly different men in her life, but you will be too. I understood Sam because I also loved them both. I adored Hawke and his crazy life and his beautiful words and intense love. But I also adored Josh and his calm strength and his beautiful heart and his compassionate love. Crap...now I'm tearing up just thinking about them. It's just stunning to me that Mia was able to make me love them both so completely. And Sam is a great character. There is nothing weak or selfish in her feeling for these two. She is a loving, caring, independent woman who has had her fair share of heart-break. She is in a situation that no woman would ever expect to find herself in and there are simply no easy answers. She is never careless with her feelings or callous with her love.

    This is not a book about cheating, that's not what's going on here. It's a book about circumstances you don't plan and feelings you don't expect and people you never see coming, but who matter in ways you can't control. It's about the decisions you make and the decisions that are made for you. This book is about all the best parts and the worst parts of falling in love. It's about falling in love fast and falling in love slow and friendship and passion and hurt and heartache. It's about love.

    This book is a love triangle, honestly the BEST love triangle I have ever read. It is NOT a menage or a threesome (Nothing wrong with those...I read them too. That's just not what this duet is). I know not everyone loves a triangle...read this one anyway. I know people like the concept of a once in a lifetime love that is like nothing the H/h have ever experienced before....read this book anyway. I know not everyone embraces the idea that you can love two different people for very different reasons at the same time....READ. IT. ANYWAY !!! I would absolutely hate to think that anyone would miss out on this absolutely breath-taking love story because they were afraid to take a chance on it or because they had a preconceived notion of what a love story needs to look like.

    I just can't believe how freaking brilliant it is. I honestly laughed out loud, I ugly cried, I panicked, I screamed, I swooned, I hurt, I healed and I loved. THIS is why I read. This feeling right here....like I can't get enough and I never want it to end.

    I recommend reading this book, even though I was confused by the actions of the female protagonist, Sam. The book is told only in Sam's POV. She is a budding professional pastry chef who meets Hawke, her music dream and the lead singer of the hottest rock band. They have an instant connection and lust ensues. She has a whirlwind 2 days of bliss with him, but reality sets in and she hears nothing from Hawke. In the meantime, Sam has a sweet encounter with Josh, a student lawyer moonlighting as a shoe salesman at Nordstrom. They have great chemistry and witty conversations. Does Sam have to choose between the two of them? This is what this book is really about. On some level, she has a deep connection and attraction to Josh, but they do not pursue a relationship because Sam feels more attracted and emotionally involved with Hawke. Sam and Hawke do try a long distance relationship while he is on a tour. However, the lack of physical interaction is getting to Sam. The book does end on a cliffhanger. I liked reading Josh's charming pick up lines and Hawke's endearing connection to Sam. I think I know who Sam will end up with, but I hope she does have both guys in her life somehow.

Instead, she gives us a love triangle that literally leaves you torn between a hot rocker and a loveable lawyer.

    One of the things I love most about Kayla’s books is the fact that was you open them, she sucks you into her story until you’ve turned the last page. Although her typical story line changed with Torn Between Two the same allure of Kayla’s writing was ever present. With each chapter she wrote the momentum of Samantha’s choice built and built pulling you emotionally deeper into this love triangle and engaging your further into the world Kayla had created.

    I was captivated by Kayla’s triangle of love between quiet pastry chef Samantha and her leading men. Kayla writes of a young girl living for the first time as she pushes the boundaries of life, taking chances, making life altering decisions and growing up. Along the way, Kayla gives young Samantha not one but two completely different men that etch their way into her heart and into the readers as well. I had a really hard time deciding who I saw Samantha with. Hawke was captivating, chaotic, interesting. Josh is loveable, real, every girls dream. One with sex appeal that weeps from his mouth, the other sigh worthy swoons and heart melting love. So after reading I sit here completely emotionally torn between the two. Will Samantha chose the man who needs saving? Or will she choose the man that can save her?

    What I do know is that this book is one that you must read. Whether you’ve had the pleasure of reading Kayla’s other books or if you are newbie starting out, it’s time you picked up a book written by this author. Why not start with Torn Between Two?     Oh my gosh! I don't even know where to begin. I knew from the blurb that this book was going to have me feeling all the emotions. Sam is faced with an impossible decision, she could be with the bad boy rockstar Hawke or she can be with the sweet and down to earth guy who adores her, Josh. The two men really could not be more opposite and as the novel progresses, I found myself thinking it is impossible to choose between the two. Both have good qualities and bad ones. I loved the angst of the novel and the passion and the romance. I love how deeply Sam cares for both men. I also loved the twists and turns of the novel and don't even get me started on the ending. What a huge cliffhanger, I cannot wait to see what happens next. I have no idea who Sam will choose in the end but I can't wait to see how their story ends.

    There is probably so much that I could say about this book but to be honest I don’t want to, what I want to say is stop reading this and flip on over to whichever supplier you get your books from and BUY THE BOOK!!!
    The story is told from Sam’s (Samantha) point of view, and I found that by listening to her I was able to make sense of the situation she was in, I could see why she could be feeling so emotionally torn about what was happening in her life.
    I liked Sam, she was the sort of woman you would want as a friend, she was cheeky, a funny, caring woman but was there more to her than she was letting on? Was her past still dictating her present?
    A the title states there are other main players in this story.
    Hawke, well there is so much going on with him it is impossible to put it into just a few concise sentences. This cock sure rocker is as manic as you would expect but there is a darn sight more than the crazy world in which he plies his trade to blame for that, the excesses of his industry are just the tip of his own personal hell.
    Josh on the other hand wears his issues like an invisible cloak, they weigh heavily on his shoulders every day but this funny, charming man is an expert at keeping his private life for behind closed door.
    Can I choose between them, no I can’t say that I can and I don’t think I would want to, so in that respect I fully understand Sam’s plight but can she find a resolution?
    There is no getting round the fact that the book finishes on a cliff hanger but with book two in the pipeline, I think I can bide my time!

    This book is captivating and I could not put it down. It follows Sam who within days of each other meets her two knights in shinig armour, but both are completely different to each other. Hawke is a sexy bad boy rocker and Josh a sweet charming trainee lawyer. Both offer different things, Hawke offers the intense passion and amazing oppourtunities but along with them he has to battle dark demons. Josh is always there supporting Sam, caring for her. One is an intense relationship the other a slow burning flame, but ultimately trust is a big player in all things. Which way will Sam turn, who will win her heart. This book is beautifully written and captivates you from start to end, it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster you laugh, you cry and you get angry but most of all its about love, love at all costs.
