    This is a continuation of Sam's best seller, Taken by Two. To understand this book fully it is best to read that book first. I do greatly recommend these books. I love this threesome. They have stolen my heart!

    Sam took three individual people, brought them together in a unique way, in a beautiful relationship in the first book and now in this book they are facing some unique trials that are testing the strength of their love for each other.

    Luther, a man from Rex's past, is brought to their compound almost dead and Rex and Penny work to save his life. While Nate and Rex befriend him easily, Penny has an uneasy feeling about him. It soon becomes clear to Rex that Penny should trust her instincts and always stay close to Nate and Rex as long as Luther is around, until he leaves. Throw in the fact that Nate's sister is being stalked by an abusive husband and things get kind of crazy with their lives. Lies, deceit, jealousy, insecurity, and then we see how strong their love is to get to the truth to FIGHT for LOVE and MARRIAGE.

    When I mentioned lies, deceit, and jealousy, let me clear up that NONE of that was from these three. They never do that to each other. But outside influences, for a short time, try to break them apart. But, there is SO MUCH MORE to this BEAUTIFUL story that you DO NOT want to miss!!!

    Sam also knows how to write some beautiful, yet, INTENSE love scenes. So, you might not want to be at work while reading this book! *smiles* Her male/male, male/female/male and male/male/female scenes will leave you particularly...tingly. And let me emphasis there is ALWAYS love involved, not just sex, because these three are DEEPLY in love with each other.

    There is a lot of action and scenic scenes as well. You will be taken to the jungle of Columbia to drug dens in the United States. You always get to "travel and visit" different places when you read a Sam JD Hunt novel. Oh, and let's not forget all of the action-packed scenes as well! This book isn't a fluffy book! It will keep you on your toes!

    I highly recommend this book. You will love this threesome and their love.

    What a great follow up of Taken by Two. I would not recommend reading Torn from Two as a stand-alone, as stated above, this is a continuation of Taken.
    I fell in love with Penny, Rex, and Nate and their love story in Taken and couldn’t wait to see what was in store for this threesome. WOW, what a ride! The angst and drama keep you on the edge of your seat anxious to see what’s next, will they survive, will their love survive... Talk about trials and tribulations! There are a few different situations going on and the stories are woven perfectly together.
    This book is a rollercoaster ride of feels, you’ll want to ride again! I don’t think there is one emotion left untouched. The love and passion between them will warm you in all the right spots, the heartbreaking moments that will tear you apart, the action and suspense will get your heart pounding, and jealously and deceit that will make you want to punch something.
    Will their love be strong enough? Can they survive everyone and everything trying to destroy their lives? Will the past come back and tear them down? Will they always be able to say “We are three – I love you both”?
    If you loved Taken by Two this is a MUST read. If you haven’t, OMG what are you waiting for? Get them both…read them both!

    Read Taken By Two FIRST! One of the things I loved about this sequel is something that rarely works for me in others, a year long time gap from the end of book one. The layout of this story is unique in that the absence of the last year actually allowed me to settle into the story quickly and fluidly. Is that a word? The narration by Penny fills in the time gap without the reader getting lost, and for me, actually explained a few things that I felt I didn’t get a good handle on in book one. With that said….
    My god this book is ridiculously hot! I mean seriously – aside from the great character growth and action filled story line, the great bad guys and the angst-packed suspense, the physical relationship between Nate, Rex and Penny is completely volcanic! These three all came alive in book two. Especially Rex. Living in a bubble gave them the freedom they needed to not just embrace their relationship, but to set it free. Too much? Seriously. This is well written ménage. This is well written sex. Finding themselves interacting with the outside world tests their resolve to and commitment to each other in ways they never imagined. Penny’s future and Rex’s past are the dominant issues when the pressure for an heir and the ghost of a rebuked lover invade their paradise. Throw in a homicidal in-law, a group of ex-militia, a run-a-way sister, a bunch of drug dealers, and of course the normal insecurities of any relationship being challenged by outside influences…these folks have a lot going on. But this author keeps the pace at a perfect level that you don’t want to stop reading. I only did to sleep, for just for a little bit. It’s no secret that we get an HEA with this read, but the road there makes you feel like you earned it. Like the characters earned it! MMF/ménage rarely feels honest and true. This was an amazing journey that shows how powerful love can be, and how ‘unconventional’ can be beautiful. What a great ending. Highly Recommended!

    A blast from the past turns the lives of Rex, Nathaniel, and Penny upside down. Can the trio restore their broken path or will the dangers that lie ahead take the chance away from them?

    Sam JD Hunt has delivered another fabulous five star read that is like no other! She has taken on the ménage love story once again and delivered us a heart stopping and heart breaking story.

    The path they lead was not an easy one and was full of danger. Each twist and turn either had my heart stopping or had my mind fill with dread; that is how all-consuming and captivating this story is. Sam JD Hunt truly knows how to not only write but deliver a story that will keep you enthralled from start to finish and keep you guessing as to where the story might go and end up.

    I loved Penny more in Torn from Two, she had developed as a person and it was clear the love the three shared was what had made her a stronger and more determined woman; they had helped her to embrace being the woman she was deep down inside. She had also clearly become a rock in the trio’s relationship; she encouraged both Rex and Nathaniel to embrace their love for each other.

    This book inspires people to be open to other diversities of relationships and to not hide away from the way they feel. I also feel this can inspire people to be open minded to the different kinds of love and relationships that surround us, that there is no right or wrong way to love and we each should do what makes us happy.

    I recommend this series to those who enjoy erotica, love stories that are MMF, MM, and M/F. This series has romance, suspense, and mystery.

    Let me just start by saying you must read Taken by Two before you read Torn from Two.
    Torn from Two is a true love story that involves M/M/F.
    Is it possible to love more than one than one person. Does it matter what family or friends think.
    Can a best friend come between love, if not a best friend how about family stress. Read Torn from Two and find out.
    The passion this author put into King Rex/Nate and Penny makes you realize that love can concurs all.

    Loved the 2nd and final part of this series. I was once again drawn in to the storyline and character development. I did find it easy to work out what Luther was up to, so that 'twist' didn't come as a surprise - not sure if that was deliberate with all the hints throughout the book or not. Either way, still very enjoyable and well written. Loved the epilogue which gave more details on their future lives together.
