Trouble: The Wild Series Book 2 Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 225 ratings

Scarred by her past, Kerri frequents an elite sex club to experience the intimacy she craves — and when she comes face-to-face with dangerously sexy Trouble, their explosive chemistry will turn her world upside down…

I’ve been watching you.
I feel like I’ve been watching you forever.
It started as revenge. You were a means to an end, a way to pay your father back. To avenge my sister. Her death. Her life. But it turned into something else.
An obsession.
An addiction.
Dangerous. Unwanted. But, maybe, inevitable.
And so here we are.
I’m sorry, Kerri… I didn’t want this.
I didn’t want to shatter you.
But you should know...
You make me weak.

What happens when revenge is turned around on the person? What starts as a plan to use his enemy’s daughter as pay back, somehow becomes his obsession. Desire, lust, dare I say love ensues.

First book I’ve read by Colet Abedi and I will be looking for more. I stayed up until 3a.m. To finish the book. There is no cliffhanger. The characters of Kerri and Ian are sizzling, humorous. And witty bantering. The circle of their friends is very entertaining - I could see some more books.

The “I planned on using this person for revenge but then I fell in love” trope is not generally my thing but given the sex club premise, I thought I’d at least get some kink. There was no kink. And both lead characters were annoyingly immature. Trouble is written as kind of a stalker and very controlling (regardless of what Kerri’s wants are...which hello consent and autonomy, where have you gone?), and that is just not sexy. The book was generally well written but the entire premise and the characters themselves were fairly off-putting for me.

First time reading material from this author and I wasn't disappointed. Kerri had issues that Ian 'Trouble' Sutherland helped her to overcome. Kerri's winsome personality had Trouble rethinking his strategy for revenge. A story of love, family, revenge, forgiveness.
The story line was good. The supporting characters were loveable. Question: What happened to Kerri's father despicable business partner?

Kerri is a confident female in almost every aspect of her life except intimacy. As past trauma has made sure of that.

She frequents a secret industry sex club to experience the intimacies, reactions and acts she can only dream about. She loves to play a cat and mouse games with the patrons knowing she is in control.

But, there is one man that will turn the tables. She will become the prey to his hunter.
Trouble is coming her way and he is looking for revenge.

Can she trust the happiness and fulfillment she finds with Trouble? Will Trouble ever see Kerri as more than a means to an end?

I loved this book! It has the perfect balance of passion and emotional moments.

The sensuality right from the beginning is enough to get you heart pounding and the chemistry is off the charts.

I believe the revenge aspect could have played a bigger part in their story because, as it stands, it takes second seat to the fact that it’s a secret.

I also feel like Kerry’s trauma was not resolved enough. There was no closure for me. There was nothing at the end to indicate she has moved on from this trauma or what happened to the guilty party.

I definitely recommend this as one-click material.

I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed book 1 with Wilder & Jamie's love story.
Book 2 didn't let me down.
I was worried it would have a sad ending. But not to worry it's a happy ending.

i love this autors previous works but hated this book. Corny lines. Found the same words and lines in every other book i have ever read. Kerri was annoying and weak she lacked any real depth in her character. Ian in the beginning was strong but then he became a sap. By 62% of the book i was vomiting in my mouth.

Found myself jumping pages so i could get to the end. I had too triple check that I was reading the book a book from
    Colet.

I am really sorry for the review but this book was trash and i was thoroughly disappointed.

Would still buy her books in the future because i know how great they can be but would wait for aot more reviewz first.
