    Well written story and well developed characters! Rowan's Daddy died years ago! He doesn't think he will ever be ready to love again, let alone find a Daddy that wants a middle aged Boy!     This is JJ HARPER'S contribution to DESTINATION DADDIES. This is a some what sad story about Rowan who is a widower. He has finished his Trulli Capido in Puglia, Italy and it's open for business. It caters to a special clientele. Ethan is looking for his life to make some changes. He's unhappy and doesn't know exactly what will bring him peace. Going on a trip may be just what he needs. This is a sweet Book about being in a different lifestyle. Finding your forever in the most unexpected place. Living life to it's fullest is something most put off. It's a dream, but very rarely a reality. Sometimes love comes to those who wait and for others it is a dream come true. I really enjoyed this book that was filled with happiness.     I've been loving the Destination Daddies series, and based on the premise here - especially the younger Daddy/older boy dynamic - I began this book looking forward to a fun and sweet kinky Italian getaway. Unfortunately, this story didn't really work for me.

    I don't necessarily need to "like" the main characters in order to enjoy a book, but the whole premise of a sweet Daddy/boy love story - built upon trust, honesty and open communication - was essentially undone for me from the start by Ethan's treatment of his pre-Rowan little, Johnny.

    Ethan pursues more with Johnny knowing they weren't the right fit for each other, moves too fast for him, nearly throws a public tantrum when Johnny breaks up with him, and then downplays their relationship to others (and is awful again when Johnny - whose now been made a villain - reappears later). It was all very un-Daddy-like behavior for someone considering himself a nurturing caretaker, and was inconsistent with who Ethan is in the rest of the story.

    Going directly from the breakup to insta-love and forever declarations basically upon meeting Rowan also gave some relationship whiplash that was all too rushed to feel like a genuine connection. I did like Rowan, though, and was ultimately happy for him to have found the Daddy he longed for after having suffered the tragic loss of his husband years before. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. (Also read in KU.)

At the story we get a sense that Ethan is looking for something and maybe not even sure what that is. But then there they are together in the same place. The insta-connection works so well for these two men. This is such a sweet story of two men finding each other and finding a new life together.

    This is J J Harper’s story as part of the Destination Daddies anthology- Trulli, Madly, Deeply is sweet low angst story between Rowan & Ethan- an older boy with a much younger daddy.
    This relationship is not something I have read before in daddy books and it felt very refreshing due to the dynamic between the main characters, and the storyline that J J Harper has developed.
    Both Rowan & Ethan were likeable characters who found that insta lust turned into insta love and it felt very organic- now I know insta love is not everyone’s favourite trope, but it worked well here- remembering, that it is a short story therefore we cannot expect a long drawn out courtship here ( plus insta love does happen and I love it!)
    Rowan lives in Italy and has built and runs a holiday resort for daddies & boys- a long held dream of his and his previous partner that has come to fruition for its first season, Ethan ends up going on his holiday there but alone 😱
    There was some drama but was quickly resolved and this was a quick easy but lovely read- perfect for a relaxing afternoon to rid your mind of the day to day humdrum.
    All in all this is a lovely, sweet book with some super characters- the writing as always was very developed and well rounded which helps the flow of the story, and is a fabulous addition to Destination Daddies!!!
