Tully: A Dark Irish Mafia Romance (Dangerous Doms) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 1,242 ratings

Don't let her mousy appearance fool you...
McKenna Byrne is fire.

Hot tempered.
Passionate.
All-consuming.
She seared my soul from our very first kiss.

Once, she wanted a chance at independence.
A life away from the Clan.

Then danger threw us back together,
And when McKenna and I collide...
We ignite.

Now I'm forced to claim her.
To make her a full-fledged woman of the Clan.
She might fight me tooth and nail,
But we both love a challenge.

This time, there'll be no escape for either of us.
This time, we'll burn...

Tully: A Dark Irish Mafia Romance (Dangerous Doms) is a wonderful and unique story. What an incredible way to finish the series. This story is no expectation, Jane Henry’s stories have relatable characters, engaging storylines, sassy & strong heroines, bossy & alpha heroes, and will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I am so glad that Tully finally got his own story. I have loved every story in this series.

McKenna is one of the teachers at the clan school. She is sassy, spunky, and very independent. McKenna loves being with Tully but is struggling to accept/acknowledge what she needs from Tully. Tully is the clan’s enforcer. He is a bossy alpha male all the way. When it comes to McKenna, Tully is very protective and can be gentle. I adore McKenna and Tully’s story, every twist and turn/ highs and lows.

Tully: A Dark Irish Mafia Romance is a well-written story that will captivate you from the first page to the last. This story can be read as a standalone, but if you have read any of the previous books will get to catch up with the McCarthy Clan. Tully has love, heartbreak, sizzling chemistry, a bossy alpha who can be very gentle, a stubborn, spitfire teacher, suspense, twists, intrigue, a gut-wrenching story, passion, a wonderful family, banter, humor, and romance.

I have loved every book in this series and was so happy to see Tully get his story and his woman. McKenna was a complicated character and at times, I just wanted to smack her but she is one fierce lady. They both love to play and while she keeps saying she doesn't want to be a member of the Clan, I can tell she longs for the feel of family like she sees the other couples have. Of course there is a lot of action, danger, mystery, intrigue and betrayal but when things come to a head, McKenna is right there. There were some sad moments that I didn't see coming and that made me tear up just a bit. From the first book to this book, it's easy to see how all the "brothers" have grown into their roles in the family. Maeve is probably one of my favorites and I admire how she holds up to everything that happens around her. This is suppose to be the last book in this series but maybe Ms. Henry will give her readers a bit more or maybe another spin off. I love my Irish Mafia men!!!

The final book of this series is full of the suspense and intricacies that are the hallmark of the series. The final inner member of the Clan finds his mate. I am a little disappointed Boner didn't have a story of his own, though. Although the characters were fierce and obeyed only the laws of their Clan, they were an appealing and family centered group.

Wow! What a ride. I plowed my way through this book despite my desire
to savor it and make it last longer. As soon as Ms. Henry releases a new
book, I know that I am in for one hell of a journey. She excels at creating
strong female characters that appeal to even stronger men, such as Tully.

McKenna Sweeny, a quiet school teacher. She was vulnerable, innocent,
and one hell of a stubborn spitfire. She was certainly a contradiction at
times. She had a wild side that packed a punch when needed. She
smolder underneath a cool exterior. She spent so much time running
from Tully when all she really wanted was to run to him.

Tully fought to have McKenna safe by his side, but he had to watch her slip
away. I loved Tully’s intensity. His dominance. His protective instincts to
nurture McKenna took over his need to punish her. He sees the fight in her
eyes. Her inner strength intrigues him. Danger saw him dragging McKenna
back to Ballyhock. Foul play and tragedy brought them closer together. Fate
decided their future where they found peace.

What a game of cat and mouse these two played. The pivotal moment for me
was when McKenna stopped fighting her feelings for Tully and opened her
    heart to him.

This book ticked all the right boxes for a good mafia romance. Action, danger,
grief, suspense, and everything we have come to expect from the McCarthy
    Clan from Ballyhock.

I have no idea how to describe the way this book has come to life in front of my eyes. Truly an McKenna have this intense connection to each other and the drama that has come between them has made their relationship more difficult and yet ultimately brings them closer together and they have the best chemistry and happiness together.

So can I just start by saying that I love the the main character is such a strong and independent woman!!

This story follows McKenna and Tully’s relationship with McKenna being a teacher and Tully being a very high ranked member of the Irish Mafia

McKenna and Tully’s relationship is very off again on again but that all comes to a hault when McKenna witnesses too much and is then placed under the protection of the McCarthy Clan.

She doesn’t want it. She doesn’t want to feel like a prisoner, doesn’t want to give up her job and certainly doesn’t want to be told what to do by a domineering caveman.

We see McKenna struggle with her inner turmoil whilst she’s figuring out who she is and what it is that is between her and Tully.

McKenna’s life turns out to be at risk as Tully and the Clan go to war.

It’s intriguing seeing whether these two continue pushing each other away or will they realise what has always been in front of them and unite and help to save everyone around them?

**I will warn, there is a particular situation within the book that is very sensitive especially towards a woman and can be a trigger. **

I don't think I've ever been so sad that I've read the last book in a series...it was poignant and hopeful at the same time. I just finished and already I miss this family, like leaving behind friends that you can only hope you will see again. Makes me want to go back and read the entire series again RIGHT NOW.

I loved the story of Tully and McKenna. To see the tough as nails Tully fell for McKenna and how gentle he can be is awesome. To see another strong woman join the clan women is amazing. I found myself laughing and crying along with the characters. I can't wait to read of the clans stories.
