Twice Upon a Time: Cinderella (Fairytales Retold Book 2) Kindle Edition
There are two sides to every story. Cinderella retold, both the way you know it and…the way you don’t!
Was the Prince as charming as he appeared? Does this fairy tale sound too much like a tall tale? Who was the Fairy Godmother and what part did she really play in the story? What happens after happily-ever-after? Having solved the mystery of Little Red Riding Hood in the first, bestselling, Twice Upon a Time, Filbert Numbscull is back, determined to read between the lines of this classic fairy tale.
This is a book about the magic that is love, the strength of willpower, and chasing the impossible. Read it if you are a parent or teacher who wishes to teach your children to believe in themselves and to go after their own dreams, because the magic they need lies within them.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseTom Fliberdgibbit, ace reporter, finds out about the real story of Cinderella in Marina Gioti's retelling of the classic tale. Did it really happen as history reports it for all these years?
Marina Gioti certainty presents another version. The illustrations are top-notch and beautiful. The only drawback in the ebook version is the type is very small on a kindle fire . Highly Recommended 5/5
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA reporter owl decides to follow up on the Cinderella tale to see if it really did have a “Happy Ever After Ending.” He finds that Cinderella has moved to another town, met her true prince and she admits that wishes only come true if we work for them to happen. What a good lesson for my granddaughter!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThank you for writing this for my daughter. She is now at the age of obsessing about marriage & happily ever after princess life.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2018Format: KindleThis is a fabulous book, both for the story and the stunning illustrations, which my nieces loved. I liked the fact the author gave a little background to the story of Cinderella before the story (which as a fairytale nerd I found really interesting), and then gave the whole traditional story - unaltered - to start with, which is a great storybook in itself. The following additional story (which links in) is a great bonus and very funny too. It may not be suitable for every child - I know at least one that would be horrified by the notion that all is not perfect in the Cinderella story after all! - but for most it's a fabulous story that I think enhances it, gives it realism and a key lesson of making your own dreams come true, and the gorgeous pictures just provide the perfect illustration of the story.
Suitable for children of all ages, and I'd love to read more of the series (especially as maybe I could read more than one book with my niece who loves fairytales then!).
