Twila's Tempest Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 33 ratings

Drake Addison, retired Marine, understands the dangers of the sea, but there’s a storm coming, and she’s all of five foot three.

A dark horse among the Treasure Coast’s elite, Drake’s passion and wealth tempt him. His first love is building yachts. Meeting Twila, he sees she has a passion as well—caring for the elderly, including his parents, but she’s trapped.

Like unearthing a gold doubloon, with one kiss from Twila, he craves a thousand. He makes an excuse to remain in Port St. Lucie and teach Twila about the sea. His mistake: misjudging the heart of one woman, the soul of another, and the ferocity of the one headed their way.
Sometimes, a little knowledge is dangerous, but for Twila—it’s deadly.

A standalone romantic adventure.

Author Natasza Water writes a cup of romance with a twist of steam. Reared on Agatha Christie, Nat's love for suspense and thrillers spills into her own writing. With an enormous coffee by her side, she's spending her retirement penning new stories for those who love to read.

InD'Tale Magazine:

Five amazing stars from the premier Indie magazine InD'tale: "Cain and Mika trade their ashes for beauty and transform sorrow into something exquisite....Ms. Waters has penned an original tale with unforgettable characters and proves that beauty is more than skin deep."

Book Viral:

"Riveting and wholly engrossing, it takes a lot to stand out in this ever popular genre, but author Natasza Waters knows exactly how to deliver an outstanding read. Book #4 in the popular A Warrior's Challenge series, Code Name: Luminous is founded on pulsating action and a well-constructed plot with a notably observed balance between suspense and romantic tension, but its Natasza's ability to create wonderfully endearing characters that quickly draws the reader to her pages."

"Another strap yourself in, bite your nails and fall in love again read from one of the most promising romantic suspense authors today!"

~TJ Mackay, Publisher, InD'tale Magazine

Every Hurricane Season I read this book. I love this book because it shows the human aspects of love, family and selflessness. After re-reading this book, Hurricane Ian hit my area with wind gusts of up to 173 miles an hour. There was fear here because I had no option of leaving. Car battery died two days before and auto assistance wouldn’t send anyone out because of the storm. Streets were flooded, debris all over the roads and no electricity or cellphone service. Biggest fear…my son in Sarasota, FL. I couldn’t reach him and he couldn’t reach me. Twila and Drake faced winds, pounding waves and rain. I now identify with these characters. Great Read!

This is the second book of Natasza Water's that I have read. I have already started a new book by her. I love the way she weaves her stories and brings the characters to life.
Twila recently lost her mother. She is living in her mother's trailer in a senior park in FL. To help with the pain of her loss she helps the senior with chores around their home and errands.
Drake is a retired navy man. He builds yachts that are very luxurious and can withstand FL weather.
He is involved with Heather---a spoiled rich girl whom you can not wait for him to dump.
Becka is Drakes mother. She kept trying to get Twila and Drake together but they never visited the park at the same time. Once they met she would find little chores to get then to spend time together.
Thus the beginning of Drake's and Twila's strong relationship an adventures with many twist and turns.
Would you do what Drake did for the love of your life? Read and see.....

I totally enjoyed this book. The storyline was an original for me. Drake and Twila's love for one another was very refreshing to see. The simple things in life are the most important. Ms. Waters does an excellent job in building her characters. I fell in love with It also gave me insight in to everyday life of someone living in a retirement community in Florida.

Okay, I've got to admit that I've been dying for another Warrior's Challenge book and was disappointed to finally find a new book by Ms. Waters but discover it wasn't a Warrior's Challenge or even a suspense. After reading a few positive reviews from other Warrior's fans, I was encouraged to give it a try. I'm very glad I did. The characters were very well crafted and easily pulled me in to their world. While it wasn't a suspense, it definitely had plenty of ups and downs and stressful moments. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book when Drake's brother, Layton, finds his forever woman.

Once again Natasza Waters pulls you into her story. I loved everything about this book. I couldn't put it down! When I read her books I sigh and say wish I could write like that. I was right on the yacht in the middle of the hurricane. Right there with Becka having her meltdown. If you haven't read any of her books you don't know what you're missing. Pick up this book read it, enjoy it. I know I did!

Twila's Tempest by Natasza Waters is a fantastic read. Ms Waters has delivered a well-written book loaded with amazing, lovable characters. Twila and Drake's story is loaded with drama, action, humor and sizzle. I was hooked by the first paragraph and tied to the kindle to the end. I loved reading Twila's Tempest and look forward to reading more from Natasza Waters in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
