UnBreak Me (Savage Beast MC Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 635 ratings

Two souls searching for a way to find acceptance, love, and healing in physical pleasures. Both lost. One the devil. One a fallen angel.

Esther has only craved to be loved by one man, the Wolfe who hides behind his broken ice blue eyes.

Unfortunately, the wild man she craves has desires that she doesn’t feel able to fill. These desires will destroy her if she allows them.

Wolfe, the road captain for the Savage Beast MC, is known for his ruthlessness. The forty-year-old has demons that haunt the beast inside of him.

He cannot be the man who deserves to love her. He knows it’s wrong. He knows it will break her, but he cannot help himself. She wants a wild man. He is as wild as they come.

Two souls searching for a way to find acceptance, love, and healing in physical pleasures. Both lost. One the devil. One a fallen angel. When they finally give in to their lust, their love blossoms like neither imagined possible.

I loved getting to binge read part of this series. This series is so very different from her mafia work and yet just as powerful. I loved this couple and I loved this story. The twists and turns are around every corner. This does not seem as if it would be possible with such a self-contained world but they do. The power comes from such spectacular writing and storytelling. Each of these books has been unique and captivating. I also love the world she has created. It's not a world I would necessarily wish to live in but one where a family has been crafted. This family has all the drama existing in our worlds but there is a certain safety for most. Great work yet again! denise bailey

Sometimes there are things in life, horribly evil events, that change us irrevocably. Sinister deeds that alter the very fiber of our beings so drastically that we scarcely recognize our own reflections, or know our own minds and hearts. This tenet of human fragility is the very heart of Hailey Faiman's book, "Unbreak Me", an exemplary heartfelt look at the struggles of being physically damaged and emotionally scarred.

This second installment of Faimain's Savage Beasts MC series continues, almost in parallel with the first, but from the viewpoint of Wolfe and Esther. Wolfe being the guarded, emotionally closed off road captain of the MC. A man who endured monstrous abuse as a child at the hands of his own parents; abuse that haunts and affects him forty years later, and prevents him from functioning beyond the violent, unbridled life of the MC brotherhood. Leaving him unable to cope in relationships without the physical involvement of trusted brother, Mamba. And Esther, an equally damaged young woman, a woman abused horribly in her childhood and raised with no self worth beyond what she can sexually offer men. A woman lost to her trauma and desperately longing for a life filled with happiness and love; a life she doesn't fully believe she deserves.

What follows is an intensely emotional exploration of what it takes to repair the demons of one's past. A revelatory diary of sorts unveiling how often in life, it takes someone as damaged as we are to see us, to truly see down to the very meat of our souls. How sometimes it takes someone who has been violently, horrifically altered in the same way to help heal those very broken parts, and fully understand how the pieces need to fit back together. And it is a beautiful, powerfully poignant portrayal of love, personal growth, and second chances at happiness.

I only wish Esther's part in it weren't quite so stunted. I wish Faiman had afforded us a more in depth view of Esther's demons as she does with Wolfe's, as it would have bridged the gap to the final concluding events. As it stands you feel as though you are missing a vital piece if dialog and interaction between the two, and while you understand how it steers toward the epic conclusion, you are left feeling a bit empty over the lack of detail and care afforded to Esther's part as compared to the rest of the book, ultimately leaving you yearning for just a bit more.

Additionally, as with the first book in this series, the author creates a brutal story world, one that does not romanticize what this club and the brothers within it represent, so be warned, this book is violent, containing brutal scenes of sexual assault, abuse, violence, and other scenarios some may find deeply disturbing or unsettling. And as I said in my earlier review, this series is NOT for the faint of heart or easily offended. However as with the others, if you can stay the course, and embrace all that unfolds before you on the page, you will be richly rewarded with a phenomenal story of redemption and love that will haunt your dreams and flood your heart with joy.

My heart broke for Esther. She and Wolfe hurt each other but still loved. I felt such hurt from both. This book was so good but hard for me to read in certain places. Ms Faiman tells a gritty raw story. She does it with class. She is a master storyteller. I can't wait for more books. Hopefully Dragon is next!!! Thank you 💜💜💜

I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This story is part 2 and 2.5 in a series. It is a darker MC storyline.

    Triggers:
memories of child sex abuse, drug use, murder, kidnapping, sexual asssult

    Spoilers:
    Unbreak Me book 2
Raff aka Wolfe is a road captain in the Savage Beasts MC. He likes his sex with multiple partners. He has no old lady but likes Esther. Unfortunately she chooses not to want to be shared by him so he moves on.

Esther, claims to love Wolfe but leaves him when he wants to share her with his friends. To retaliate, she goes to a rival MC and has sex with all the guys there. She's also a schoolteacher.

Story was good. It was dark. It wasn't pretty. I did not like Esther at all until the end. She's a "loose individual"  and proud of it. Eventually she and Wolfe work things out. HEA

    Unlove Me, book 2.5
Mamba, member of the Savage Beasts. He was abused as a kid. Likes sex with men and women. He breaks it off with a former lover and that guy tortures a woman Mamba was interested in.

Maria, tortured and left for dead. She is rescued by Mamba.

There was an instant connection between them. They are joined by another Savage Beast. HEA

This book triggered me a few times. I had a bad childhood. I pushed through due to how correct the author was about thoughts and feelings of people who were abused in childhood. I'm glad I finished both the books. They are well written and have some happy endings.

I really enjoyed this book. Watching 2 people who love each struggle to overcome their traumatic childhoods to be better for each other. Parts of this book me sad, others frustrated and made me mad. I love books where I can feel the emotions of the characters and their struggles.

This story has so many intense moments, some repetitive moments, hot moments and others that just make you mad! Over all it was a good read and a good addition to the savage beast stories

Omg I couldn't put this book down. The twists and turns, the ups and downs what an emotional ride. I'm so glad they found their happiness in one another. I'm happy for Mamba and him finding his happiness as well. I can't wait to see what happens next!

It's a hard not to love an Alpha male but something about Raff pulls you in more. The hurt and trauma he had endured from the hands of someone who was supposed to protect him made him the man he is now. Ester being raised the same way if not worse is what brought Ester and Raff together. Yea their hate love for a while was hard on the heart especially when Ester gave herself to both men just to have Raff and out herself in danger by going to the Rivel club but when your crazy in love there is no stolling what you'll do.

4.0 out of 5 stars UnBreak Me…..Esther and Raff.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 23, 2023
The story was one of equal weakness and strength. Their journey is a rollercoaster but what I liked is they come out together….complete equals of what they have in their feelings for each other. Neither of them floundering and worried about not knowing something.
There was a touch about Presley in this story, I really didn’t like how her story unfolded in the previous book. What this story reminded me is that even in real life there are women (and men) who live in denial about the infidelity in their relationship and they’d rather not know. I couldn’t live like that and I do feel genuine sadness for those that do. I guess if it’s something that you both agree to it’s different, but I think that’s what I hated most about Presley’s book is that she is compromising herself for the love of her man.
I loved the HEA for Esther and Raff and once again the writing was top notch.
